Will EFC 1983 be allowed to retain EFC's Badge design, or will they have to re-jig it a bit?

Considering the only continous with regard to Enfield football club is the History,Name,Badge. Not caring about one of those, knowing that the name has already changed, does seem strange.
What about the History? Do you care if you can carry Enfield football clubs history into the new club?

Without those three things, what remains? A club trying as be a near to the old club as possible but with a slightly changed name.Slightly changed badge (albeit with the same supporters and infrastucture)...Sound familiar ?

PS..Prawn Curry for me (with extra rice), washed down with a bud. beer

To be fair, what badge you choose to wear is not the issue. The issue is,what will the oficial Enfield 1893 fc badge be for next season? I presume as close as possible to the EFC badge.

All that needs to be done is keep the badge exactly the same but put 1893 after the Enfield simple!

Or they could drop the Middlesex swords & add a football!!!!

They could drop the Middlesex swords and add a Hert for Hertfordshire. The new EFC 1893 badge would almost certainly be an improvement on Watford FC's badge. Their hert looks more like a moose!

Q: What's the difference between Romford and Enfield?

A: If they win the ESL, Enfield can get promoted at the end of next season!!!

If the FA proposal to only allow future promotion from Step5,if those leagues contain 20 or more teams, comes into force before the end of next season, then no one will be promoted from the ESL.

How nice to have you back Lovely Stuff ,Not that you was away eh mate ,Your old kev saw straight through your Enfield T & Gereral I'ds eh mate ,All that because you fell out with Jim & Brunob ,Thought you were made of sterner stuff than that my old son . Now the big question .....If this new ruling comes in I suspect the essex senior league will increase membership to the required ammount of clubs to make it 20 , I believe White Notley, Risden , Braintree Wanderers ,Sporting Bengal have all shown past interest in Joining up ,I cant see the door being shut as the ryman league is struggling for member clubs right now with Edgware possibly coming out of it . The Essex senior league could be very Interesting ,Many clubs have come out of it. Canvey , AFC Hornchurch ,You lot , Not a bad place to start from.

Just peeked at ESL main forum Mauritiuas Pennant have joined to make it 17 clubs so thats one of em .

MFM..You are fruitloop, good and proper. arcadefreak

Regarding the ESL.If the change comes in this year,as muted, then the ruling would effect promotion for the champions of the ESL next season. The FA are doing this because they feel there are too many step5 leagues and are trying to force smaller leagues to unit.Regarding teams such as White Notely or Risden and the like, the FA will no doubt increase minimum ground requirments in order to stop the smaller leagues just adding a couple of intermediate teams to top themsleves up.As the 20+ rule is primarily to encourage more Step5 leagues to merge.(and as a result become stronger in quality.)

Mauritiuas Pennant?? Isn't she Jermaine Pennants cousin?

Along with them, Sporting Bengal and London APSA it should prove to be a highly diverse league.Saying that,i'm not sure Kev would approve of the resticted selction policy of some teams.I know APSA now select non-Asian players.Lets hope that S.Bengal relax their policy, now they are in a senior league.

17 feels a long way from 20 to me. And that will be without the loss of those that jump ship to get into a promotable league at the end of next season. My guess is that EFC(2007)'s best hope will be through an expanded Spartan League in 08-09, if the FA pursues its proposal.

I wonder whether the ESL mentioned any of this to its new member clubs?

The rules will change by the end of next season anyway so all this discussion about 20+ clubs will probably have been worthless
