Anyway, we played well, there was loads of spirit and a good result.
Thing's still look tough at the bottom though, but I've got an idea, why don't we take 2/3 weeks out to rest and let all the teams with games in hand catch up. It's all false economy at th moment...we could actually be second from bottom depending on results. A second reason for this is...I might be doing a dis-service to other Ryman clubs, but if it comes down to the wire and it takes a positive result for, let's say B Stortford (sp?) against, let's say St. Albans with nothing to play for except for pride, I would have thought that they'd be some sort of roll-over...what I'm trying to say is that I don't think as a club anyone would particularly be looking out for us...nayway, hopefully it won't come to that.
Anyway, a mate of mine who follows Chesham (and apparently writes an article for their programme along the lines of 'best baps in the league') was obviously a bit gutted by the result...which was nice!
Not sure if I can make this week now...so it'll probably be the Billericay game...
C'mon the E's! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
