Yes it it if you are already in the Ryman League, clubs coming in are differant ETFC and AFC Wimbledon will have same trouble

If you are shareing at a ground and it is classed as your home for ever then you are ok

trying to think of an example ?

No. I was asking for clarification of something I believed to be correct, but wasn't sure.

It's a bit rough on aspiring teams to have grounds of a much higher status than clubs already in the league. The message that sends out is once your in, you don't need to do anything groundwise. It should be done annually, like I believe it is in the Doc.Martens. Then at last Hendon will be relegated!

Back when Saracens moved out of Southbury Road, wasn't there a problem then. Not so much with ground grading/sharing, but with the rules of the league. The Isthmian League had a rule that said something like your stadium needed to be fully enclosed, and EFC at first only had a fence along one side. At on ematch, someone pointed out that Man Utd wouldn't have been allowed to play in the Ryman that year, because their stadium was being rebuilt and didn't match the Isthmian criteria.

What you find id the club that dont do anything on the ground also have bad teams on the pitch loke at Hertford they have never done anything on the ground and have had a bad side so slipped down the Ryman set up.

Last season the got promoted at the expence of Cheshunt and are now going to get relegated again.

Even though team in the league have bad grounds its not a reason for kicking them out even though it was done in the past Royston and Hillingdon I beleive

The Ryman league is a closed shop and its hard to get the door open the further you go up its more a case of who you know.

The best grading rule is that you have to have a walkway 1 metre wide around the whole length of your pitch would any Football League or premier league side get in on that rule alone

You'll all come running back when we're playing at Cheshunt or Haringey next season!!!

I live in Borehamwood. I could walk to EFC home games. I choose to go to ETFC games instead. When you're playing at Cheshunt or Haringey (still outside the Borough of Enfield I notice) it will be more difficult for me to get to EFC games than it is now. And seeing as I won't go to an EFC home game while Lazarou is in charge when you're within walking distance I can't see me dragging myself off to Cheshunt or Haringey.

Anyway, there is too much water under the bridge now and I can't help feeling that if EFC got a home back in the Borough of Enfield any increase in home fans would be made up of people who currently don't watch either of us.

I was being flippant Cyclops! I don't expect any regular ETFC fans to come back as fulltime supporters, you're on to a good thing with what you have.

On the subject of where we play,it's easier for me to get to Boreham Wood as well, but I'd still rather we were closer to home. We might get some of the old following back.

I agree that there must be a group who refuse who watch EFC outside the borough and/or with Laz at the helm, but who also refuse to watch ETFC. Get back in the borough, ditch beelzebub and they might return but I doubt if there's more than 50 at the very most.

Everyone else in the borough is likely to become very confused! Human nature being what it is, a club winning things is far more likely to attract new support than a struggling club.
