seems as tho' our beloved nett has inadvertently stumbled across a nest of self confessed whining hysterical AFCW pansies on the footballwebpagesforum....seems as tho' they want to report her to the police for daring to suggest that her calling them pansies was the same as them referring to our League Chairman Alan Turvey as 'Turdey'....

 

good lord the hysteria was most unbecoming of a decent club such as AFCW and it makes me wonder how these 5/6 fans...a minority pinko woofter scum who have publicly (forum wise) infiltrated the face of AFCW...can be allowed to reflect their club so badly on these forums (notice they don't come on here)....PC bullies all of them and what disappoints me the most when you read the blatant double standards of these pr1cks is that ryman league people stand back...afraid of the dreaded AFCW boycott.....

As it happens I was the person who reported it and I am not an AFCW fan. Unchinette had plenty of time to withdraw the comment but failed to do so. I withdrew the complaint on her apology which was given extremely grudgingly but I was feeling generous at the time.

 

Don't you think that in your attempts to show how very non PC you are you have gone rather over the top UU?

 

And as yu are well aware the post was not reported for calling anyone a pansy but for inferring that pansies were child molesters. I was willing to believe that was not her intention but it was simply unfortunately worded. Is that right or was she happy to infer that pansies are child molesters?

So, if the Police had become involved, all you wanted from them was to gain an apology from the alleged perpetrator of an alleged crime?

 

Presumably that's the case as you saw fit to withdraw the complaint upon receipt of an apology.

 

In my opinion the Police should not be involved in such matters. I would prefer that they devoted there limited resource to preventing and solving serious crimes. I would hope that no one would ever use them as leverage merely to gain an apology as that is, in my view, bordering on irresponsible.

As for it not being a "serious" crime - it is attitudes like "all gays are child molestors" that lead to the serious crimes of gay bashing and even murder. I had no desire to turn it into some kind of a witch hunt however and perhaps too readily accepted that the perpetrator was genuinely sorry for the very grave offence caused to the person she addressed it to.

 

As a matter of interest how would you deal with matters like that or do you think it is acceptable to make those type of comments without any redress?

I see homophobia is alive and well with Mr Williams then. Woofter scum? How many times do you have to be taught the same lesson before it sinks in? This has nothing to do with Wimbledon, this has to do with bigots breaking the law on forums. It happens quite a lot and usually gets deleted and forgotten about - but some people don't know when to apologise and keep quiet it seems.

 

I think you'll find the reason most Wimbledon fans don't bother coming here is because they've got a functioning brain.

would it be the suggestion that Karl Williams was a crook?

If so I would point out that something is only libellous if it is not true, if it is true then no matter how unpalatable it is not libellous..
