We had two new players in the match against Bowers last sat, according to the independent. Chris Thomas scored twice & John Stanley got the other one. Shows just how much interest they take in us, bunch of plonkers. If they ever send a reporter to a game he will definitely get the HORN, blasted at him or her. GET IT RIGHT YOU K** HEADS, DEAN THOMAS & SHERWIN STANLEY.

You'll be pleased to know that the Enfield Gazette got the players names right. The downside for (1893) is that the paper gives more coverage to Brimsdown Rovers and Cockfosters than it does to the team from Wodson Park! I'm sure this will change when you get back to the borough.

Today’s Enfield Gazette has match reports on Enfield Town, Brimsdown Rovers, Cockfosters and Enfield Town Ladies but there’s not even a mention of (1893) FC!

I used to buy this paper at the station on saturday when we was at Southbury Road . It started to go down hill when Mr Hyatt retired and then it got too excruciatingly cliquey . Last time I saw it was old misery guts making some pitiful excuses about losing to Waltham Abbey . I hear its 40p to buy it What a Rip off.
