Junction 25 on the M25 is open again?

I'll be travelling up to watch your game v Bas Utd this evening and would a appreciate a heads up on the best route.

I don't really want to have to take the A414 via Harlow to the A10!!!!

Cheers!

Hookey..Make sure you take the last WARE exit off the A10.(the 3rd one, just after a bridge).Ground is only 200 yards off that junction).

Take any of the first two exits and you'll get caught up in Town centre traffic.

200 yards ? what planet are you on ?You might just get to the cemetary ! Hookey He is right about the 3rd ware exit which is Stevenage A602 Ware B1001 and it is past the Hertford flyover . Follow Ware B1001 you will come to a Roundabout (Ignore the Mini ones) Turn left at the first one you'll see Powell's undertakers ,Turn left at the next one You'll see a fire station on your left Follow this road for 300 yards Wodson park is on the right hand side ,Ware F C is to the left of the main sports complex .

What are you talking about SON??? The 3rd exit is right opposite the ground on the A10.(A1170-i think). You can see the lights of the ground opposite. You come off the exit.Turn immediate left at roundabout. In 100 yards go straight over next roundabout.Ground is 20 yards on the LEFT.

It sounds like you've been taking the wrong exit to your own home games.

You said the turning after the bridge which is A602 B1001 ? Its the way I go and have since we've been there . There are actually 4/5 routes into Ware but I have better thngs to do than be here all night debating with you .

I think the turning after the big bridge, over the Hertford meads, is the A602....then its right off that roundabout towards "Ware"....

There are many bridges on the A10.A602 is the 2nd exit.I said just after the bridge at the third exit that is signposted to Ware(travelling from M25 direction).Try it.Its a lot quicker than all other routes and it IS only 200 yards or so from the ground.I'm sure most of your fellow fans go that way.

A10....is the way forward.....

The big bridge over the meads, is a highlight of this road and was built by the Venetians in 787AD.

As you go past Amwell (about 2 miles north of the Hoddeson exit) it's traditional to stick a finger of peace out the driver's side window and shout CAN'T FLAPZ

this is said to be good luck by the local welsh population that habitate there

Should have said: I sure most ( sensible fans who have managed to find the quickest route to their own home ground wink ) go that way.

Mick and Son Of.I challenge you go go the way i said tonight, and then tell me after if its not easily the quickest and shortest route to the ground.

The A1170 junction was built a few years ago.I think the directons page on EFCFANS should be updated to include it.

Ok Ok go over the "viaduct" & the first turn off is the A602, however for visiting fans it is far easier to go to the next "New" (since the wadesmill bypass opened a couple of years ago) turn off at Wadesmill taking you back over the top of the A10 & the ground is indeed about 200 yards on your left, easy exit after the game too.

Thanks fellas, I took the correct exit and found the ground very easily. The nightmare was getting onto the A10 at junction 25 (M25).

I spent longer trying to get off the slip road and round the roundabout than I did getting to that point!!!!!

Jesus wept Lovely Stuff you need to socialise a bit more mate try making some proper friends instead of irritating people on the net, Does it matter how people get there as long as they do . I come in from St Margarets and through the Town centre .... Do you suggest a better way for me ?

Was simply trying to help Hookey get to the match. It was your fans who started questioning my directions and argueing about it. doah

PS.. I only replied to Hookey at all, because no EFC fans seemed willing or able to tell the lad if the M25 juction at Enfield was open or not.
