The ground itself is fine, it's the surrounding area....

I thought the ground itself was adequate ,plenty of seats and a nice clubhouse. The problem is we dont have a good recent playing history there .

Not too sure about the pikey camp next door , A bit dubious about leaving my car in the car park.

An entertaning game with chances at both ends .wrighty did well between the sticks and was clattered a couple of times , glad to see his confidence hasn't gone after the knock he got a fortnight back. Mark Whitts Adil Lopes & Sherwin taken off after crude challenges none of which were punished by the ref ,he did let alot go today.

Good game today from the lad's, showed we could be kicked to bits and still come out fighting! Good side Eton, worked hard as a unit and got some strong tacklers in the side!!! How on
earth there gobby 9 stayed on the pitch is a mistory? Should have walked for the abuse he gave the ref and lino, let alone his tackleing.

Well done lad's a good three points.
Just a quickie as well well done to Chris Green who come on the Mark, played his nuts off and battled well.

Eton Manor 0-2 Enfield

Steve Wright, Adilson Lopes & Sean Clarke return to the starting line up.
Also a well known face made his debut in goal for Eton Manor .

First chance fell to Manor with Anton Stephenson's cross being scooped
over Steve Wright's crossbar by Kunif Avoade on 2 mins . Another good
cross by Anton Stephenson and this time Neil Barratt pulls his effort wide
of E's post. E's finally got going in the 14th minute as Sherwin Stanley
had a shot blocked by Steve Willis ,Lee Benmore puts one wide moments
later. A chance for E's as Sean Clarke blasts one over the top Of Andy
Hall's crossbar . A good try by Deniz Mehmet on 25 mins was blocked by
Jason Fox .Graeme Butler's corner was met by Adilson Lopes but he puts
his chance wide at the near post with Courtney McClaine just doing enough
to narrow his target.A good dipping cross by Kunif Avoade and Steve Wright
made a good claim . Steve Wright saves well from Bradley Nelson on 29
mins. On 33 mins Sherwin Stanley got in behind his marker but the ball
just wouldn't drop down quick enough and his chance was lost. On 34 mins
Bradley Nelson's freekick was well held by Steve Wright. On 36 mins Kunif
Avoade was put clear with Steve Wright racing out to intercept, The two
were to heavily collide with Manor's players demanding a penalty (you do
see them given) but the referee decided to ignore their claims. On 42 mins
Mark Whittington was cut down by a stray boot from Junior Konadu and he
wasn't able to continue ,Chris Green replaced him . Bradley Nelson's
shot was blocked on 44 mins ,On half time Wes borghys does well to force a
shot from Anton Stephenson wide . His protests got him booked for dissent
as he argued against the Referee's decision. H/T

2nd Half E's were more on the offensive as Eton Manor were pushed back
and on 49 mins E's momentum told as Sean Clarke found some space out wide
and his pinpoint cross found Sherwin Stanley arriving at the far post to
plant an unstoppable header past Andy Hall 1-0 E's. (Eton Manor sub Junior
Konadu off for Brad Walsh 50 mins) Good work from Dave Bound put Adilson
Lopes in, but he puts wide of Andy Hall's goal. (Eton Manor Sub Brad
Nelson off for Leon McClure 52 mins) Sherwin Stanley was put clear but
with Andy Hall coming out to meet him 1 on 1 he missed his kick and the
chance went begging 55 mins. A long throw in from Adilson Lopes and Lee
Benmore's header was well claimed by Andy Hall 59 mins. An equally good
take by Steve Wright after a fine cross by Kunif Avoade 61 mins. Sherwin
Stanley appeared to get caught by a stray elbow and he was looking dazed
and he was replaced by Neil Hughes 63 mins . A shot by Manor's Brad Walsh
went over E's bar 64 mins. (Eton Manor sub Neil Barratt off for Chris
Barratt 66mins) (E's sub Lee Benmore off for Kevin Riley 69mins) From Dave
Bound's corner Neil Hughes blasts a good chance wide on 71 mins. Adilson
Lopes was chopped down after the ball had gone but again no booking from
the referee. Dave Bound fires over Andy Hall's bar on 76 mins . Adilson
Lopes was booked for a lunge on 78 mins . Bradley Walsh's freekick was
well held by Steve Wright 80 mins. Steve Wright again makes a good claim
this time at Kunif Avoade's feet 82 mins. Deniz Mehmet scuffs a shot
straight at Andy Hall on 84 mins. Graeme Butler fires a freekick wide on
85 mins . On 87 mins Steve Wright punches out a dipping Brad Walsh corner
despite being clattered by two Manor forwards as he did so. With 93 mins
gone the game was made safe as Sean Clarke made a surge through the middle
and rounded Andy Hall ,He looked to have lost his chance as he was forced
wide but he managed to put in a ball which disected Manor's defenders and
Neil Hughes was able to slot home from six yards 2-0 E's ,A mistake by
Courtnay McClaine let in Neil Hughes but Andy Hall did well to beat out
his shot on 97 mins , A late flurry of corners from Eton Manor as Steve
Wright saves Anton Stephenson's header on 100 mins and Kunif Avoade
shoots over on 101 mins F/T (11 mins of stoppage time were played ?)
