I think I'll have to agree with the Voice of the Firm, only one team finished above you that year, who could that be?? images/icons/wink.gif" border="0
Yeah and before you ask where did it get us? Almost bankrupt, nice while it lasted though....

Those were the days, eh Steve? 3000+ we had when we played yours that season... what was the crowd at your place earlier this season? 250? I'm not having a go, we're just as wretched these days... still... better to have love than lost and and all that... (or something)

quote:
92/93 nuff said

The 92/93 team certainly was brilliant. Sheringham and Barmby up front with Anderton pulling the strings in midfield, and Ruddock shoring things up at the back.
However, I'd have to say that either the 90/91 side (Gascoigne and Lineker) or the 94/95 team (Klinsmann, Sheringham, Barmby etc.) were probably the best team of the 90's.

What about that Macclesfiled Confrence winning team or the Dion Dublin/Steve Claridge Division 1/ FA Cup QF Cambridge united team Colin
Although my vote goes to the 91/92 Aldershot team!
Or maybe the 97/98 Wimbledon team!
