  1. Would you rather play on a perfectly flat 3G pitch or a grass pitch full of holes?
  2. Well considering he picked up the injury on grass and the only official matches I think he played since have been on grass..... The squad has not picked up any more injuries in the last two seasons when playing on the 3G as you would expect them to get whilst playing on grass. The increase of injuries caused by 3G pitches has never been definitively proven by anyone.
  3. To be fair this is Spencer Days best excuse all season!
  4. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY !!!! Billericay 1-3 Leatherhead. FA cup replay. Hopefully with the 'ricay out more focus will be given to the proper non league teams left in the FA Cup.
  5. Bracknell have a very nice set up with a good 3G pitch and a team who play in a very similar style to us. They have a couple of talented players aswell as the former slough boys who are a key part of their squad. Definitely a much more appealing tie than Hungerford in my opinion. But do we want the extra matches in what is already guaranteed to be a very long season.
  6. Whilst those ahead of us may pull clear despite our games in hand it is important to remember a gap is starting to form between 5th and 6th. Tiverton in 6th are 2 points behind us but having played 4 games more. I know we are trying to aim for first place and automatic promotion but we are still in great shape to secure a minimum of a play off place.
  7. pretty much EVERYONE at the game yesterday found out !!!!! isn't it about time you started wildly and inaccurately started speculating about what the details are.
  8. I'm sure even you could understand that the club don't want the exact details announced before they officially release them. But when they do I'm sure you will agree with what I said previously
  9. The news last night about tickets for the FA Cup game all sounded very fair and I got one think the club has done a great job and rewarded the supporters.
  10. The Hayes red card was proper Sunday league stuff. The player had already been booked and later in the match the ref told him to go over to the bench to get something sorted out. The player had whatever it was that needed to be done and just strolled back on the pitch without the refs consent who then duly showed him a second yellow and the red.
  11. He wasn't injured. Guy went off on what may have been precautionary as he took a small knock but I think he will be fine.
  12. We are trying to throw the game but H&Y are so bad they are making it hard work.
  13. in 85/86 we went to a replay with Orient so we may have been in the 3rd round draw temporarily that year.
  14. Jacko in goal and Mark Scott up front to finally get his long awaited goal. I would expect a decent turn out from Slough fans as lots of people were saying they would go on Saturday, if only to see the new ground.
