On Saturday 27 October 2007 Leighton Town, who were then a Southern League Division One Midlands Club, travelled to Havant & Waterlooville for an FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie, the furthest the Club had ever got in the competition, before and after. They lost 3-0 (see report) having beaten FC Clacton, Ashford Town (Middx), Kirkley & Pakefield and Boreham Wood along the way, Boreham Wood were then an Isthmian League Premier Division side and Leighton Town won 3-1 at Bell Close. That was of course, it had to be didn't it, the season Havant & Waterlooville reached the Fourth Roun
