I certainly dig not make a dig at Perry, it was a contradictory statement. You said he was not a quitter, I then said that he quit chertsey part way through the season! FACT!
 
And why should management not be a hobby?? Surely you can still take a hobby seriously, give it 100% etc etc?? 
 
There is no set rule that if you dont take management seriously that you automatically fail just like if you give it absolutely everything, put in the hours, etc etc that you automatically succeed!
Problem with you Smudge is that you always feel your opinion is the correct one and everyone else is wrong! Opinions are neither right or wrong.... they are opinions.

On the 7th August 2010 a young 17 year Ben Gladwin made his debut for Eversley at Chobham Rec. Next week Ben will be playing at Wembley for Swindon Town in their play off final against Preston.
Some story after being released from Reading's Academy at 16............. just shows what desire, hard work and the right attitude can achieve.
Keep an eye out for him next week. I'm sure everyone in the CCL will wish him well and continued success in the future.

I wonder if they look at the parents height in Spain and Italy? Or whether it doesn't enter their heads as being relevant?

Looked like a good no holds barred game although the Cambo manager seemed to be on the pitch a couple of times when it got a bit lively

Windsor/Rother never give excuses,just true honest opinions,Frimleys playing surface is hardly Wembley,Windsor were missing key players,Lazachuyk for one,they are not the same team without him.Rother did praise Frimley and wished them well.And you mentioning budgets lessens your case,bet Windsor would like to be £1 behind Camberleys.

As Stanley said "Rose Tinted" . You forgot to mention that the Camberley keeper was told to curb his language by the ref and also the FG secretary!
And that is partly why I gave up attending football at this level last October. Bad language,constant moaning at the ref, cheating, not listening to the ref without an arguement, players not staying to support their club after a game and players just wanting to kick lumps out of each other rather than try to play the game. And before you say it my club can be just as guilty as yours in all these points.
It all adds up to a load of rubbish. As for saturdays game neither team had a great deal on goal and all Camberley could do was get the keeper to keep hoofing it up the park. Even when they had a throw in it went straight back to the keeper to kick it up field! Not my idea of football and we've all read it on here before about Camberley and how they play.
Oh, were you the Camberley supporter that chose to releive himself behind the stand as the club house was too far away?

Interesting. I thought Camberley were pretty horrible to watch, very reliant on the long hoofed ball.
 
Having to play on a bog of a pitch totally uncondusive to a passing game may well have something to do with that of course. As might the physique and individual attributes of the playing personnel at their disposal.
 
Personally, I would not want to watch that every week.
 
That said, fair play to them - I watched similar football when I first started going to see Reading every week back in the 80s under Ian Branfoot and was delighted at the success we had under him.

Dorking hopefully in 18 months time! Be quite ironic one day when all CCL games are off due to the weather, except at Meadowbank

Doubt there's many Clubs at this level able to raise the required funding (£400k+) for installation ? 

I'm always open and appreciate other peoples (posters) comments/opinions otherwise what are forums use ?  Perhaps Vice-versa could be considered   
 
Certainly big and ugly enough, but one can take so much of being ridiculed on nearly every post I make, its childish, petty and certainly not intelligent, so can understand why posters have left this forum.
 
Football is the most opinionated sport and I certainly don't mind banter as I find it amusing which some posts are on here.

I agree. It is obvious to all that watch Camberley, they get the ball up to their front players as quickly as possible. Does it make them a bad team, no, it is clearly effective and it is down to the opposition to work out a way to combat that style.
Personally, and it is only my opinion, I couldn't watch that week in week out, but that's just me.

No we're not.
Camberley are a good side and use the directness of their play as a huge advantage.
As I said earlier, if promoted, they will do well in the league above.

Camberley on any dead ball nearly anywhere on the pitch lump it into the opposition box with clearly great success. I laugh when people on here defend it with comments of 'but they don't hit the big centre forwards cos they are small'. The instance they get a free kick, they send all the big lads up (6 of em, all 6ft plus). They either get a header on target or knock it down to a small player. They've scored 9 against Knaphill this season, I can only remember 2 of the goals coming from the boot of a player. The rest were headers (i think).
Look, I'm not knocking it. If it works and you have the players to do it then by all means do it. If they win promotion, it will certainly serve them well in the ryman or southern leagues next season.
But please no one come on here and say they don't lump it forward on most occasions cos they do.

Camberley very impressive second half and Knaphill looked lost and offered little up top.
 
Home side mixed it up well, this long ball notion is another of BG little hooks to try and get people to bite. Theres plenty more direct sides in the CCL.

Kroons i been to Cam on numerous occassions and have to say out of all the teams in CCL you play the least football,it is very frustrating to just watch every player just hoofing the ball forward,but hey it works for you so don't change. 

Apology awaited but I won't hold my breath.

Salv is right why doesn't the fa help all these clubs after all they are the ones who have tried to keep up with this crazy criteria laid down to them,the clubs who groundshare yet again get away with it and they don't even have a surface to call their own,its a fecking crazy world.
