Burger! got a reaction from MoleseyMan in Redhill v Knaphill 8th Dec.
To confirm the game is at Kiln Brow tomorrow as its not on league fixture list or FA full time, given the short notice, the pitch will be ready, complete full 32 page match day programme with just two days notice and bit of luck hot food at the canteen.
Plus we have a good stock of new club badges.
Proper effort all round lads.

Front cover for todays Redhill v Cobham.
Was talking the other evening with one of our programme contributors about our print runs and had we ever sold out? we came close for the Balham game with just two unsold and SL told me of his programme editing days with a print run of 200k in this case the first game at the new Wembley stadium, now I bet they never used Epson workforce office printers!

Redhill print programmes in-house, its very cost effective, the front cover is full glossy card 180gsm we get for £8 per 100 sheets delivered, 2500 sheets of Canon red label cost £20, 4 sets of cartriges for Epson workforce printer is £12 on ebay. Its difficlult to cost the ink per 50 copy run but its not two full sets. We have a folder machine but I prefer to do it myself, it gets crisper folds and I can do the lot and staple in 45 minutes.
In house means I can update at the last minute on a friday night, so no holiday closures to worry about.
We have match reporters for 3 teams. "Senior Lobster" provides an excelent quiz and two articles that are an entertaining read.
Biggest isues I have is not recieving info from visiting clubs before our cut off point for printing, Club History, squad list, management etc, so time is taken hunting on club websites and even then stuffs missing or out of date, l wish the CCL would make it a requirement for all clubs to have a document on the CCL website for programme editors to use, perhaps there is but I've not seen it!
Tuesday Night games are a pain finding the time but thankfully this season we don't have many.

Posting on forums has been the last thing on my mind, as they say in life shit happens and last month it certanly did. Have to thank everyone at Kiln Brow for the surpport and kind words.
So the forum needs some posts, well I need to keep busy so I will upload a few pictures and match reports when I can, I was lucky to gets some great shots when the Lobsters visited Walton & Hersham the other week so a bit chuffed considering the age of the equipment I use.
So if you can put up with my Burger eating stories and shamless links to RFC I will post again.

Nice trip out this evening to chalky lane, a few faces in the crowd from other clubs.....
Redhill came away with a 1-3 win from a mixture of players from last season plus some new lads who stood out.
Next up Saturday at Coulsdon College is Three Bridges @1-30pm.

Burger! reacted to Rebel Yeller in Saturday 4th February Match Thread
Attended AC London a few weeks back for home game against Bagshot. Attendance was 7 - 4 from Bagshot, 2 groundhoppers (including me) and one other guy. No programme and no entrance fee either as i never saw an official all afternoon. No toilets in ground, catering in clubhouse was tea and sandwiches/rolls only. However many Redhill take, that will pretty much be the attendance.

Burger! got a reaction from Krooner in Saturday 4th February Match Thread
That's a shame, part of the match day enjoyment is having a bit of hot grub and a read. Not the same having to put a couple of Ginsters in the camera bag.
Not taking a pop but I was reading an interview on another forum where the AC boss was talking about taking over the Crystal Palace athletic stadium, ripping out the running track and field and installing a 3G pitch....

Thanks Bronco.
Whatever the rights or wrongs of that decision, I enjoyed the afternoon and that's what's important.

What a game at Kiln Brow, Lobsters 3 Eversley 1.
Reds 2 - 1 up with over 30 minutes left on the clock are down to ten men for a challenge and it looked like he was through so he had to go, the Californians pushed on but it was Redhill who were more determined and were creating some fantastic runs and the chances kept coming, one such chance sees Kedze clipped by the keeper as he rounds him and its a penalty but keeper makes excellent stop....we kept pushing again and again, no sitting back playing down the clock, the fans wanted more and they got it Kedze beating the defence and charging towards goal and what a goal, not content with a celebration back flip but a handfull of chips and ketchup from a fan in the crowd! We pushed on to then end, what an important win. Good to see twenty or so fans waiting for the players to leave the field being met with handshakes and shouts! Cant wait for the next game!

Burger! got a reaction from Chris Clapham in 19th DEC - 2nd JAN Match Thread
Lobsters run continues against a much improved team that we beat earlier in the season. Cambell hits the first half goal and looks keen and hungry for more. Second half the vistors gave away a penalty but it was goal machine Cambell who gets his second yellow card of the game both for mouthing off so lobsters down to ten but Kenze stuffs home the penalty for 2 _0 and his usual back flip celebration and this time just in front of my camera. Worcester soon found the net but lobsters are made of sterner stuff and continued to push on and Kedze could have had more.
The team as well as the pitch is maturing well and apart from the annoying back chat to the ref when he clearly got things wrong the rest of the season looks bright.
good crowd and plenty of kids again, not just for the free chips and drink.

...and good to be able to have a following Tuesday game giving the club regular gate money and bar income, plus on the pitch the lads are adapting to the fantastic flat surface and playing some nice passing stuff and that's giving the whole team a boost.
The real benefits will kick in next season when the grass will have matured and the root system has really meshed together who knows we could be offering ground share facilities!
...if only we had done this 3 seasons ago, but now's the time to look forward!

I don't think I've been so looking forward to a start of the season, shame no home games until the new grass grows.
