  1. Afternoon all. I haven’t posted for a while (but always read this forum), as I haven’t got to many games this season for numerous reasons, however I have been to the last two and I agree completely with Raingods post above. On paper the team is strong, individually I believe they are good players, but they aren’t playing as a team. For me, this comes down to training. I ask myself, do they all turn up? Is it excepted that they have to attend? What are they actually learning and putting into place at these sessions? In the games I’ve seen, there doesn’t seem to be any “football intelligence “ or “reading” of the game. I listen to the management on the sidelines, there’s always criticism and huffing and puffing when it’s not going well, there is sometimes praise for a good bit of play, but I never actually hear any “coaching”. Hope you are all well 😊
  2. My first game this year. I was really looking forward to it, feeling optimistic after last weeks encouraging comments. Hey ho, maybe next week. 😳😳
  3. George Quarrington Carter signed with Potters Bar.
  4. Evening all, hope you are all well. Have to say it’s a sad case of affairs when I have to rely on the fan forum for team updates and not official news from the club itself. I have heard that Aaron Greene has also gone, to Bishops Stortford I believe. (I read it on their website, however if there’s two Aaron Greene’s and I have it wrong, I apologise). Any news on who might actually be staying?
  5. The manager has had enough time and lots of opportunities. I’ve always said he needs to be given time to prove himself, but I agree Wildlife, now it’s time to go. Best wishes to Ryan, hope he’s ok, didn’t look too good. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
  6. Agree with last 2 comments...yes, Payne should have been on, yes, there is no atmosphere, and yes, fed up.
  7. I just don’t get it, so bloody frustrating. Have no words, previous posts say it all. We have no consistency what so ever.
  8. Well done lads!!!! Great result! Bring on the final!!🏆
  9. First game back after missing a few, was looking forward to it.....what on earth was that?
  10. Very disappointed to hear this. The lad was doing well in the u23 games, so he must have been very frustrated not to be used more in the first team. Another youngster gone. I wish him well.
  11. Unfortunately couldn’t there tonight, but reading the above I’ve got the gist. 4WF, you have every right to be angry and frustrated, why wouldn’t you be?!. But sir, you’re frustrations won’t change anything as no one (in management) seems to listen or even consider the opinion that changing things might have a positive impact, therefore all you will do is cause stress to yourself, and it’s really not worth it. Let’s just hope that someone sees fit to have a quite word in AL’s ear (actually, a loud word).
  12. I’m listening to my old mum in this instance....”if you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. (One request, can we please please now have 2 up front)
