As things stand Town now have the best goal difference in our league. This could be of great importance later in the season, if we are in the running for the play-offs, or better.

Things did not look good pre-season. I stand by my concerns at the time. I'm not sure many could've predicted that Mo, Billy and Lyle were going to return. I'm delighted that they have!
Very few things would make me happier than for ETFC to win the league. I'd be just as delighted if we won the play-offs! But, with my glass still half empty at this early stage, in reality I can't quite see it. I still think that over the season Worthing, Lewes and Hornchurch will finish above us. Lets hope I'm eating my words come May!

To answer Littlehampton's question (are we the whole package?), I'd say yes - for as long as we keep these clean sheets going .....

But those players were signed from other clubs. The point being made is that ETFC are not currently in a position to 'grow their own'

I've only seen the one game pre season.   Against Spurs U23's.   
10 games?    Some people have a better understanding of football than the 10 games you would suggest.   Love to be proven wrong however we have lost a number of players in the past couple of seasons and perhaps you have a greater knowledge of the team this season than the others who have been watching and have not enjoyed what they have seen?
Couple of questions for you IO
How long has Andy been at the club?
Do you think this has been long enough for him to stamp his "style of play" on ETFC which so many of us still don't know what it is?
I will get to as many games as I can this season however I'd love to know what you know that the rest of us haven't known for the past 2/3 seasons.
If Billy doesn't appear much/at all and we go back to relying on one man Mo again then I would suggest we have the weakest team we have had for some time now.   This is not moaning, this is an opinion or are you only allowed to moan that other people are moaning haha.

When Al first came I my opinion of what to expect from AL from what I had seen previously and from other acquaintances around the non-league circuit. This caused quite a lot of abuse and criticism from other members. In fact, at the time, I described the team he put out for the first league match of the season as not being an Enfield team. 
However, in the following seasons I had to concede that things appeared to be on up. 
This year however, allowing for covid etc, I became concerned that the club appeared to be to fixed on ground improvements  rather playing staff. Like many others I was to happy contribute towards the request for funds. Regarding ground improvements the FA appear to have unspent millions for grants to meet this. Has this been researched?
 As I said several years ago, what good is a well kept Stadium if you do not maintain a Team good enough to bring revenue through the turn styles. " Its all Fur coats and no Knickers.
Money has to be raised if the club is to survive.    

I believe that they are now interviewing in his age group - all he has to do is wait for a text ?

Apparently Brad has offered that - but given the way we have been treated by them I wouldn’t want to - as it could be seen as endorsing what they have done.

Don’t think any perfect solution was available and frankly there are more important issues to concern us. Just surprised the National League is continuing - or saying it is. I’d be surprised if there is any football before the Autumn.
