  1. No doubt some matches will be postponed today due to the wet weather. Following a pitch inspection this morning, I can confirm that Southall v Sheerwater is ON
  2. Good luck to all the CCL clubs. Southall seem to have picked up a tricky draw away at Chatham. Just lately we have had several trips down to Kent in the Vase. But, remember last season's trip to Tunbridge Wells when we had what I consider our best performance of the season.
  3. Southall 2 Ashford Town (Middx) 1 An excellent game. First half Ashford deservedly led 1-0, great second half performance by the 'All. Looking forward to the 1st Qualifying round draw on Monday.
  4. We are certainly looking forward to playing Ashford. Last season and this we have beaten them in pre-season games for the Lord Ashford of Middlesex Bowl 2-1 both times. Lets hope its not third time lucky for them and we can get through to the 1st Qual Rd.
  5. Molesey v Southall has got to be the match of the round !
  6. Who do we think will be the top 3 this season ?
  7. If leagues start in September, there is no reason why FA Cup and FA Vase cannot be played at the normal times. In regard to County Cups, why not play them as a pre-season tournament. This could be late July/early August. This will help teams get match fit for the FA Cup and start of the league season. Certainly, in Middlesex, the Senior Cup and Senior Charity Cup for 2019/20 were halted at the quarter final stage. These could be completed also as a pre-season event. Possibly at one or two grounds rather that as a home/away match.
  8. Annoucement from the league this morning. Todays matches go ahead, although a couple have already been postponed due to weather. Matches after Saturday are suspended for 14 days from Sunday 15th March to Saturday 28th March inclusive. After that, will be kept under regular review.
  9. It's getting really tight at the top now. Only 4 points divide the top 6. Who do everyone think will be champions ?
  10. Yes, you are right. Southall reached the quarter finals in 2016/17. Also, we reached the final at the old Wembley in 1985/86
  11. Southall drawn away to Deal Town, who play in the same league as Tunbridge Wells who we beat in the 1st Round. Deal won the vase in 2000 Should be a great game
  12. Why not come down to Ashford on Sunday for the Southall v Ashford tie. Hot food and drinks available pitchside, 24 page programme printed, and the probability of plenty of goals.
  13. I've just got home from Tunbridge Wells after an awful M25 trip. However, a great result !! Tunbridge Wells 1 Southall 3 Excellent performance by the lads and a well deserved win. On to the 2nd Round of the Vase against Seaford Town now
