  1. Totally agree it is a palava, but without the necessary assessment and checks we won't be allowed to have fans back. Contactless is an either/or. Supporters can pay cash if they desire.
  2. We have a full risk assessment guide at Levy that we send to away teams and has received very positive feedback. At the gate it is a very easy and quick process. Take their temperature from their car and then once parked up take their name and number outside the clubhouse. We have also since the start of pre season friendlies introduced contactless entrance at the gate which is a vast improvement as people just don't tend to carry cash nowadays and makes entrance quicker. As previously mentioned, this is the new normal. Clubs have to adapt to the times and the unprecedented 2020 we have all had.
  3. Leverstock Green 0-2 Hemel Hempstead Town Very pleasing again with the performance and fitness of our lads against a team 3 divisions above us. Great day all round with the sunshine and despite the no spectator rule the few that were allowed in had a good day. Great to see my old former management team of Lee Bircham and Steve Bateman and also to have their chairman Dave Boggins seeing our new square goals and 10 person dugouts he kindly donated to us. We held Hemel until 75 minutes but 2 quick quality goals gave them the win but all in all a good day.
  4. Tuesday 4th August AFC Dunstable 2-1 Leverstock Green Levy took the lead on 11 minutes with a bullet header from impressive new signing Micky Shuttlewood from a corner. In the 2nd half AFC Dunstable equalised on 50 minutes and then took the lead on 58 minutes. Levy can hold their heads held high after a battling performance against their higher Southern League opponents. New Fixture Saturday 5th September Bovingdon v Leverstock Green
  5. Let's not put all of us clubs in one basket. Tonight for AFC Dunstable v Leverstock Green I will be reporting live on the free Goalshouter App with live commentary, photos and video clips along with every shot, foul and even offside reported!
  6. Not until 8pm. We are on a zoom call with the league so should know after then.
  7. Don't lose heart Rhodes, it's extremely useful to everyone what you are compiling and none of us want them behind closed doors. We are trying our best to change this as we speak.
  8. Exactly that Rhodes, fingers are very crossed with 3 weeks still until the Hemel game!
  9. FA Vase Dates 1st Qualifying Round - Saturday 19th September 2nd Qualifying Round - Saturday 10th October League allocations out this week too to include downward and sideway movements between leagues but no promotions.
  10. Yes Bill and his team have done a great job on the pitch during the lockdown and looked lovely when there yesterday. Have a lot of time for Lee and Steve during my time at Berkhamsted and a very good article in today's non league paper about Lee and his new role.
  11. We are doing everything we can to make it happen as it should be a cracker of a local derby against our really good friends from Hemel with lots of joint interests on and off the pitch. We are in the hands of FA and government guidelines but we are lucky to have a strong team off the pitch that take great care of social distancing and health and safety covid guidelines.
  12. To be fair clubs like us and others had arranged them but just had to move the dates and then get them advertised after yesterday's announcement. Leverstock Green Pre Season Fixtures (prov obviously but hopefully go ahead as planned) Tue 04 Aug - AFC Dunstable (a) Sat 08 Aug - Hemel Hempstead Town (h) Sat 15 Aug - TBC but home to higher league opposition Sat 22 Aug - Sarratt (a) Tue 25 Aug - Amersham Town (a) Sat 29 Aug - Chipperfield (a) Sat 05 Sep - Bovingdon (a) - Now likely to be moved after yesterday's step 5 league start date on same day Hoddesdon Town and ANother from East London TBC too.
  13. Thanks for sharing Rhodes, if you have any more please share!
  14. Can't beat a bit of "heath" and safety! 🙂 Source?
