  1. Can you in the fullness of time delete the offending posts and replace thread? Up to you Ian,. Dorking must have given you a lot of grief over the years, come down and I'll buy you a drink!
  2. I think I'd like Ian to clarify if it came from DFC. Hate forum chats being shut. Make your point argue your case. Don't shut comment.
  3. It's gone now I see. Did Ian say it came from DFC ? I think he said via a solicitor?
  4. Having checked that out it looks pretty clear cut bar a revival, so the Coco Prem looks done, and the CoCo div one promotion is the only thing left to worry about. In January (Just) God I'm depressed, must be the weather.....
  5. And they play each other? Sorry my point is 3rd place gets you promoted I think? So top two shouldn't worry you, Its those getting past you in 3rd? Not trying to be a smart arse but div 1 looking more interesting at the top than Prem, and three threatening to come up doesn't happen every season as Dorking know damn well! Which three might might come down from Prem?
  6. Crikey, wasn't too many years ago I saw Spurs at Tranmere...Have to wonder who might turn up at the new Meadowbank if Wanderers ever get a cup run going.
  7. Frimley green were there before I was at 13.00 Our side were in time. So were linesmen Would be rude if I blamed anyone for 13.04 ko. Or 14.11 second half ko.
  8. Dfc lost 3-1 Although if you over stayed in the bar we won one nil.
  9. GoHaG you indicated you might offer your services if it wasn't for your island trips. Just saying you could help even from Internet land it's not a pre requisite of posting. I can advise that the new owners decided that playing out of town at Horley could mean the club got forgotten by the good people of Dorking so a high level of communication was needed. Twitter and website being a large part of that As we move back into the "parish" the Twitter match feeds may drop off to goals, scorers subs. As I've said many a time games are free to anyone to watch, results aren't secret but we aren't reporting PSFs. Jeff Hamnerr
  10. Just tried the Corinthian casuals web and Twitter Can't see score. They best Horley by 8 so a good weekend for them.
  11. I'd like to restate the club doesn't report friendlies We advertise them as we like people to come enjoy chat watch etc. Results really don't matter. That having been said I think it may have been level st half time and constant rolling subs used by both sides. DFC lost by maybe 6-1? Casuals bought in some decent players who made a difference. I know a lot of pics were taken go google. Although I don't know if they are on net. GoHaG. I'm hoing to assume you're genuine for a minute. You don't have to choose twixt Wanderers and DFC. Why not go down to the charity game and offer your help. The brief time you spend on here would benefit any non league club. Jeff Hamnett

  13. Bigj JR Match reports for friendlies are difficult. Firstly we played in a field in Eton Not Stag Meadow. We have no idea who was representing Windsor. I don't know every player that played for us. It's a little bit more than a training session but not much Thanks to Windsor for the friendly and for a competitive game played in the right spirit. It may be of interest that Windsir wire the green Union Flag shirts and an outfield player wore the no 1 shirtt. Nosher. If DFC win the league I'll be amazed and very very happy. Jeff Hamnett
  14. I spoke with our PR guy today. As a club we are doing the same as last preseason and not reporting friendlies Today we drew with Windsor FC 1-1 I think. I was there but scores don't matter Our Twitter website and reporting guys are still with us I'm pleased to say AN Other impressed as did A Trialist. Overall as a supporter I'm very pleased with progress so far Hope this helps GoHaG
  15. Crikey. Best go back and check if I've offended either of you. Good to see we've got one more spurs fan at the club
  16. Why did Chris ruddy well call him Roache then? He's normally spot on but seems to be falling off his perch lately..
  17. Yes you have. My view. What do you mean by you've heard some mind blowing things? Where is the clarity from you? I'm signed on my iPhone so posting as spurs fan I'm Jeff Hamnett as a poster on here and in real life
  18. Nosher I think you are on Glynn and Steves side which I have no problem with. So please be careful with your posts. You are hinting there is some big secret reason behind their departure. Something mind blowing Some readers may think your posts are hinting at something Glynn and Steve may have done That's definitely not the case as I've said. I still think you'll get a more balanced view by coming Tuesday than gossip at Gander Green Giggle. I'm sure you know someone who would introduce us but I'll be the fat bald bloke with a club tie. Actually make that the fattest bald bloke one or two are catching me up !.
  19. I see Dorking rugby club have replaced there director of rugby. I'm sure Richie Andrews will be a success at another club. There is no reason at all why our guys can't be a success at another club either. I wish them well and and every success and they will be an asset to the right club No smoking gun here.
  20. Firstly I have used this forum to moan groan criticise and worse Dorkings previous board. Luckily I was able to make my peace with them and credit to them for letting me So it would be hypocritical of me not to answer criticism on here now I'll publicly thank Glynn and Steve on here for keeping the club going but more for being good honest football people who have led the club to a top half finish and at least a semi final and are good friends Now to respond to rich. has the club suggested it wants more success under new manager? Don't think so. The club thinks it's bigger than it is? How so? We are no longer the biggest club in Dorking and arguably no bigger than Dorkinuans. It wants to be a community club one minute you say. Well we are. We are a CIC. We couldn't demonstrate being a community club in Horley. We will in Dorking and especially meadowbank That's not unique in football of course. But it will be demonstrably true If the club have got its ethos and DNA wrong then we won't get many applicants Let's look at that again in Augusr Rich success like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Applicants will know what success looks like for Dorking FC short mid and long term. For now, it's not simply about 3 points on a Saturday If you can understand that you will understand Dorking FC better and hopefully see we aren't arrogant, we're trying a different way
  21. He's not the chairman, he's just a naughty boy! Or CEO officially Dorking , home of the Pedantic Society.
