  1. It was, FC Chairman might put me straight though - he seems to have all the answers on everything Baldock Town
  2. As I understand it, as long as you are not moving in order to gain promotion then it is fine. Stotfold obviously have a grading to play in the Premier Division, so I don't see how it will be an issue.
  3. Dailydose - I take your point and the standard of officiating does contribute to the frustration experienced by a number of players in the league - not just ours. I will agree to disagree with you on our treatment of officials - if we were that bad wouldn't we be near the bottom of the respect table? As I said above, we are no angels by any means and seeing our players get booked for dissent winds me up, but there are some worse than us.
  4. As for winning it - have you seen our run-in!? 11 of our last 13 games away from home and we still have to play all of the top eight away. If we win it from here it will be an unbelievable achievement!
  5. Haha, we are no angels by any means, but there are worse in Division One than us trust me. Uncle T is spot on.
  6. It caused a bit of running around before kick off, but we got there in the end ;-p Kenna had a decent game to be fair considering he hasn't played for a while. I don't know London Colney's squad too well, but their two top scorers started. I thought it was a cracking game and we certainly didn't disgrace ourselves. The referee was taking a fair bit of flak in the second half, but it was refreshing to see the game being able to flow and both sides able to mix it. Both their goals were disappointing from a defensive point of view, but it was the best we've played for a few games and gives us lots to be positive about going forward. Their committee were also a nice bunch.
  7. Yeah he was in two promotion sides from SSML Division One, he also won Division One of Herts County when he was with us the first time. We've had a good start, but long way to go!
  8. Sam Perrin is with us. He used to play for us before, so we were only too happy to have him back.
  9. I think that is why the fixtures will not be released until after the FA Comp draws as I believe KB will be giving all clubs not involved in the FA Cup a league game on 6th August.
  10. I'm reliably informed that it will be on or around 20th July.
  11. Interesting that we are back up to 22 clubs again in Division One - it was a struggle to fit all the games in with 20 this season!

  13. Hard to tell on this evidence. Result looks emphatic but it was the proverbial game of two halves! We controlled the game and looked like being the only winners for the first 35-40 minutes. We got in front, but then quickly gave away a poor one at the other end. From then on a lot of our players went missing and they took their chances when they came - they were dangerous on the counter attack with three rapid lads up top. We were chasing the game for much of the second half, so often left ourselves exposed and they took full advantage. Think they'll be in the top 10 though. Some interesting results in Division One though - albeit not one we would have wanted, but still 37 games to go!!
