  1. I thought Windsor played some nice football, but lacked a cutting edge up front. One of your guys mentioned that the centre forward (Kane Jones?) was being played out of position (on the right wing). I know Mick Woodham personally and I think he will sort it out and you will still be up there this season. Hope to pop over again soon as my brother is a Windsor fan (divided family loyalties).
  2. Rother what has happened to the Windsor Forum, i cant seem to post on it any more? I was going to comment on the game from a neutral's point of view, but it wont let me!
  3. P.S. You won 7-0 nil on Saturday by the way.
  4. Result from last night: Dorking 1 Windsor 1
  5. Is this game still on tonight, and if so what time is the KO please. I may pop down and watch as I am in the Dorking area tonight..
  6. Really enjoyed my day out at Windsor yesterday, it was nice to catch up with some old faces as you do at Xmas time. I know I have had my differences with a few of you on here, but i must say what a well organised and pleasant experience that was yesterday. One small moan though, the excellent beer run out: I look forward to some more Windsor Knot on my next visit. Good luck.
  7. Dansilk: we are all entitled to our own opinions, dont you agree? Just because you dont agree with mine, that does not make me any less a proper supporter than you or any other fan. By thw way what ever happened to Fuzzy Royal, does he still watch Windsor?
  8. What about owing the taxman money, or have yot conveniently forgotten about that? Was that not why your were wound up?
  9. Sorry I thought the idea of a forum was for people to express their own views on situations. Just because you dont agree with someone else's views does that mean that that person is wrong all the time? I dont think so.
  10. Hardly there are a few decent town centre pubs
  11. Oh we will be drinking alright, bit not funding WEFC/WFC's coffers, any money given to you lot gets wasted anyway.
  12. OK but let me say this: IF you win the league you will be the most unpopular champions for a long while. I have spoken to quite afew non-league people (not Slough peoeple I hasten to add), and they are all pretty pissed off with the way your have conducted yourselves. P.S. any Slough fans attending your game on Tuesday will be not putting any money over your bar either.
  13. Nor are those owed money bu you lot.
  14. I am glad you find you find it tedious Geggy, maybe you would not be so amused if WEFC left you out of pocket.
  15. The fact is you have reformed with the same manager and mostly the same players, having gone bust owing various peopele money. Surely, Calamity Dave, even you can see how that looks to the outside world? Merry Xmas and 3 points to Egham.
  16. Geggy: I was going to tell you, but after Mrs Cats last comment I think I will desist. See you for the game against Egham on 27th. December
  17. Oh and who knocked you out of the FA Cup? Oh, you werent in it where you, having gone bust owing us the taxpayer money. Having spent money you havent got.
  18. Hanworth Villa are a good side, I did not say they are a pub side. However, it makes a mockery of the CCL when you have sides who clearly have players who are obviously turing out for the money Windsor are paying (at the moment) and who should be at a higher level. However, you will get found out soon enough, as happened with WEFC.
  19. So the players that stay with or come back to a team which gets reformed (or relegated) at a lower level are glory hunters? Interesting logic, that. Most people would say that the players who spurn a lower team are the glory hounds, but your POV is novel. Back in the real world, let us be thankful for players with loyalty - and who find happiness in playing where they're genuinely welcome and appreciated. You are missing my point. Chennels, etc. are now playing at a level which is not good enough for their talent. To beat a team 10-0 is hardly an even sporty match is it? Lets see what happens when your money dries up (again). They will be off.
  20. Pub teams: Raynes Park Vale, Banstead are the two that spring to mind.
