Apologies about the cup tie, was getting confused with the ESC! Its going to take time for Mark to get his squad how he wants it. Nonetheless let’s get behind the boys for the rest of the season!

I agree with you Andy. Would like to have seen a few more players stay from the title team of last season. I hope we can at least keep the remaining players of that team (i.e. Alex, Nathan, George, Kenzer) as they have been fantastic since joining the club. We need a settled side for the remaining of the season to ensure we stay up, which I have no doubt that we will. I hope there aren't anymore outgoings till the summer. In the summer will be a rebuilding process for Mark and it will take time. Interestingly this is the Thurrock team from the last game of the season v's Staines last year; Starting XI Ben McNamara Reece Morgan Connor Weston George Winn [Now at AFCH] Dexter Peter James Goode [Now at AFCH] Jordan Clark [Now at AFCH] Lewwis Spence [Now at AFCH] Charlie Stimson [Now at AFCH] Ronnie Winn [Now at AFCH] Joel Nouble Bench Timothy Ogunrinde Toby Smith Ellis Brown Reece Cave Remi Sutton [Now at AFCH] Not included but was at Thurrock Joe Christou [Now at AFCH] What is interesting is for me, who is going to play LB tomorrow in the semi-final? Most the guys we've signed are cup tied and i'd imagine Remi is in the same boat.

The stats we're announced to show our appreciation of someone who has been vital for us for the past few seasons. I'm really gutted about Jay leaving as he's one of my favourite players and has been brilliant for us. I'm sure he will be snapped up by someone very quickly as he's an outstanding player. I like Marks, proper old school striker!

  20. https://www.afchornchurch.com/2018/10/25/hornchurch-fc/ This is a major decision for the club as we can now finally return to our original name following the statutory time period elapsing. This move has been carried out by other reformed clubs such as Darlington. By returning to Hornchurch Football Club, I believe this will provides us the opportunity to help the club finally shake off the shackles of what occurred in 2005. I am fully supportive of the move. To help us obtain the general feelings of the supporters, please use the feedback forms provided

Club applies to revert to Hornchurch FC

The Supporters Association sent our feedback and all of the collated survey responses back to the F.A. at the beginning of December. The outcome from the F.A. is due early this year.
  22. The AFCH Supporters’ Association are proud to present a ‘Pre New Year Knees-Up’ at the club on 29th December 2018. A great evening ahead with some fantastic music from ‘3 in a Bar’ who were superb at the recent ‘OrnchurchFest. Tickets costs £5.00 and will be on sale by our events team of Steve Newman, Paul Child and Simon Philpot. They’ll also be on sale at home matches from the AFCHSA stall just outside the clubhouse.

Margate Away - Was it a goal?

Good result, both teams had good chances to nick the win. The two new midfielders looked very promising in the centre of the park. Top support for a Tuesday night! Fingers crossed for that win on Saturday! Also I’ve had a message from Colin to thank everyone who travelled last night! Great Support!

  25. It was nice being in the top tier while it lasted.... valiant effort by the team in the past 2 campaigns (including a promotion). I fear a Sunderland like fall could be in order.
