cup of tea reacted to The Pars in Prem division new teams for next season
I was at Whitehawk a few weeks ago for the play off final.
it’s all seater behind the goals, with one covered and the other not.
The view surrounding the ground is very good.
The Whitehawk fans provided a fantastic atmosphere. Interesting to find out how noisy they will be for a regular game with half the number.
It is a ground I am looking forward to returning to.

cup of tea reacted to Fat Tom Daley in Ticket Access for 2023/24 Season - Priority Windows
Following the ticket situation from last season's play-off final, the HFCSA have been in dialogue with the club and our online box office partner Kaizen to improve how tickets are allocated for all-ticket matches.
Our priority is to ensure members will get a first option on tickets going forward, therefore we are pleased to announce that the HFCSA membership will now be through the Hornchurch FC Online Ticket Box Office to enable members to have priority purchasing windows for first team matches where required.
We are also looking into a way to provide this priority access for season ticket holders as well through the site, albeit we have not been able to find a solution yet. This is something we are working on.
Full details of the HFCSA scheme will be announced in the due course (hopefully after this weekend).

I feel we need a proven head that is able to have a pull with players in this league and above and that plays attractive football. (not much to ask :P)

Thanks very much Mark and the staff for the FA trophy memories.
Next season will be it's toughest for quite some time, Ricay already making decent signings etc but I have total faith that we will get the right manager in.

Thank you for the FA Trophy highs they will never be forgotten.  The biggest and best day of our history.
I am not a hater I do however think this is the right decision and the right time.
I back Alex and the club to move on, good luck to Stimmo and his staff in the next venture.

Mark and his team delivered the greatest day in the clubs history so he’ll always have legendary status at the Bridge.
I’m sure he will have many takers when clubs realise he’s available.
The main task was to get the club promoted for the past couple of seasons and it hasn’t quite happened for us so I think it’s probably the right decision though, time for some fresh impetus methinks

Away support is not bad either (remember that Aveley would have been boosted with the playoffs)

The improvements to this club have happened with Alex taking over as chairman. That's not a coincidence. If you've got an improved budget and get better players in as a result then the likelihood is that your league position is going to improve. Jimmy got us promoted to what is now the Vanarama South without that. Other clubs also suffered with injuries I believe.
Jimmy had given so much to this club but in his final time in charge he was clearly quite ill and the poor guy couldn't really do the job properly anymore. Our league standing was always going to improve. I'll always be grateful to Jimmy for getting us promoted and also being manager here without getting paid as well and he was badly let down by a few snakes (not going to go into details about that) So that's why we were in the position we were in.

Not going to comment on everything above but there’s two points I would make.
Firstly Colin saved this club - for those of us that can remember that state of the club he inherited and where we are today , Colin (and Jimmy et al.) were and have been miracle workers. Not always seen eye to eye with Colin but if anyone doubts the commitment and effort he has shown to this club over a long period of time I’m happy to discuss in person anything about that. That’s why he’s got a stand named after him.
Secondly, Alex has been amazing for this club and after his personal efforts towards Hornchurch particularly over the last couple of years, I was hoping that this was going to be rewarded with a promotion but it just feels the problems were on the pitch rather than off it. I don’t for one minute question the commitment of the players but there’s clearly something wrong there.

    My last comment....
I have upmost respect for Jimmy Mac the man would run through walls for any team...he played for and managed, top bloke!  I scout for Mark and went to watch a large number of games and players last season.  The league position has improved year on year hasn't it?  Take covid out then the league position is higher and the points total increased? We approached at least 4 players from the league winners last year (summer) Bishop Stortford and the packages they were on we couldn't  get near.  Spoke with Ryman North players and the deals were stupid.  Even teams mid table in our league have massive budgets...It's not all about money!!
    Anyway thats me logging out.
    Everyone have a great summer!!!

Is there any reason you're resorting to name calling? Does that achieve anything? Our chairman backed the club with the sole aim of getting promotion and that hasn't happened. We had the league in the bag and threw it away, do you deny that? - It shouldn't have come down to a playoff game because of the risk of getting a poor ref or not turning up on the day. Aveley weren't that good but they didn't need to be because they knew what they were going to get from us and set up to counter that as they have done the other two times they've beaten us this season - Was it Einstein that said that the definition of insanity was to do the same experiment on multiple occasions and expect different results?

Can’t keep blaming refs, thought she got most decisions right. Losing one play off final is fair enough but losing two shows that something is wrong. We’ve played Aveley 3 times this season, we have played the same way in all 3 games and they find it so easy to defend against, I would if I was 6ft 4 and it was hoofed in the air!!! People like to defend these players and the manager all the time but for how long? Stimson doesn’t have a plan B, he’s far too stubborn to change it up even though Aveley have had our number all season. The result was far too predictable, all well and good beating cray who make it an open game, when teams like Canvey and Aveley defend like they do, he doesn’t have a clue

I'm not a board member, just a supporter and just like you I'm allowed an opinion.
After reading all your posts I'm still not sure who/what your comments are aimed towards.

Are you suggesting not playing the leagues top scorer because he failed to find the next for a few games? have you seen what else he brings to the team other then scoring? his hold play and vision are second to none.

Mickey played left back well before Remi had any injuries so that's no excuse
FACT - Stimson this season has under achieved, the objective was promotion and he failed whether you like it or not

No one is saying they know the actual budget but it is obvious when you can see some of the talent on the pitch and level of experience that they would be demanding a wage on the higher end of the scale along with the signing of Ade.
I don't recall many if anyone on here stating that the ref had a good game.
I cannot speak for the players obviously, however the people on here that have been disappointed and stated that on here also haven't been negative towards the players at all, as a whole i think they would like to play for the club with passionate loyal fans with growing attendances.  The main way to keep people coming back though is good performances and results and unfortunately towards the end of the season that hasn't been the case as much as we would have liked.
Do you go on the forums of all these other clubs that you have listed quoting their support for their clubs regardless? I mean I am pretty sure the large majority on here have supported the club regardless, just because we are disappointed and have an opinion doesn't mean we haven't supported the team.
When the club went into administration and we lost everything we were still there and we are still here now so please refrain from questioning the support of the club and the team.

So you have a player who apparently doesn't fancy travelling next season, but still proceed to play him anyway knowing he doesn't want to go up?
    Brilliant choice.
Now having a go at volunteers because they do stuff for free? If it wasn't for these people,  there would be no club, and you'd be licking Stimsons arse somewhere else.
Harry Martin tried giving the deeds to his house to save this club once. People do things for the love of the club. Not for money.

Let me just reiterate what I previously said - our budget is extremely competitive due to the fantastic chairman we are so lucky to have, they have brought in players who should really have gotten us over the line but didn't. Facts are we under achieved second half of the season and the stats back it up.
Are saying the lack of team spirit was key for our failure? if so that's with the manage and his team to build this surely? what about the crazy substitutions? persistence in playing Parcell left back, signing a striker when we were crying out for midfielders, the lack of mentality throwing away so many leads, we are incapable of adapting during games its one way and hope it works.
You mention the lack of togetherness at the club then spout absolute unnecessary abuse directed at Colin and the board? Colin has done wonders for this club and without him I'd dread to think where we would be.
