As long as this country keeps throwing silly money at the Premiership and not in the grass roots of football then we're never going to get enough good players to be competitive. Also play too much football in the Premiership just so that teams can make more money - by the time a major competition comes along, some players can't perform to their best.
 
Happy to give it to Harry - Can't see what else he can do though as he's got the same bunch of players as Capello.

What i can't stand is referees giving yellow cards to our player Reiss and at least 3 worse challenges on our players,two in the last 2 minutes being let go,one was so synical i thought he may get a red.
thought we played well,the second yellow for reiss was a joke and until the bury players (two of which ran at least 60 yards to appeal for a red)started waving imaginary cards in the face of the ref,he showed no sign of using the card.
Next time i see players running that far to get a player of ours sent off i will confront them after the game and tell them what i think of them the spineless little c**ts.
As for the Bury crowd,you can tell a team hasn't been at their best in recent weeks when a normally subdued crowd is baying for Red with every 50/50,luckily for them the Ref fell for it like Canvey away.
If we don't go up automatically i hope we get Bury as we will absolutely smash them with 11 men.
 
And as for the fracas at the end,you win the game,shake hands,you don't walk up to one of our players like their number (6 i think did) and scream yes,fckng get in without getting a reaction,bunch of cheating c**ts.

Same with us though - apart from the occasional dig, there's very little interest about Romford on here. I would say 99+% of the posts on here don't mention Romford either directly or indirectly.

I was proud to be an Urchin yesterday and particularly of the second half display and our desire to play football. Really enjoyed the day and the atmosphere generated by fellow Urchins.
 
To match Grimsby in their current form we needed to be on top form and for things to go right for us and it didn't happen for us on the day. On other occasions this season it has been the case and its been great (e.g. Thurrock, Lowestoft & Billericay).
 
We know its tough trying to balance success and survival - and we are all behind you, Jimmy and the rest of the team in continuing to make this happen.
