  7. Horley Town 3 Sutton Common Rovers 0 Good win for town and another three points and a clean sheet. We missed skipper Adam Pullin at the back today but made up for it with some very good goals. Matt Fairbrother fired in the first after a great run. Richard Wetton made it two nil with another great strike. This was followed by a third for Town again from Matt Fairbother. Town went in at half time three nil up. Second half was much the ame but with Craig Bradsaw in the Sutton goal keeping them in the game with several good saves inclduing a great tip round the post from Richard Wetton. Final score three nil to Horley another good referee who did well in the tricky conditions. Specail mention to Craig Bradshaw (Sutton goal Keeper) who saw Scott Robson go down injured struggling to breath and he put him straight in the recovery position what non league football family is all about.
  8. Horley Town 4 Raynes Park Vale 0 A good three points and a claen sheet for Town. Great fist goal from a good corner from Mark Beven was fired home by Kerran Boylan who hgeaded powerfuly into the back of the net. Town second goal came when Kylie Hough picked the ball up well outside the area dummed two defender and then fired past the advancing keeper. It was two nil at half time to Town. The second half saw town cary on where they had left off in the first half dominating the game and goal three came from a penalty after Tate Greenaway was brought down in the box and Top goal scorer Kyle Hough fired home to make it three nil. Town made some changes and it was sub Richard Wetton who scored number four after controlling the ball and planting it past the Raynes Park Vale keeper to make it four nil. Happy New year everyone.
  9. Chertsey Town 3-4 Horley Town Nightmare journey on the M25 the car park that does not move!. Town were without several key players including first choice goal keeper George Hyde. Town were soon two nil down with goals from Mealing. Town hit back before half time with Keran Bowlan scoring both goals for Town with his head. The teams went in at half time all square two two. Town came out and pushed on, Kylie Hough hit the upright and Chertsey cleared off the line before young Tate Greenaway scored at the second attempt. Town then went four two up with top goal scorer Kylie Hough fired home from the penalty spot to put Town four two up. In the last minute of extra time Thompson added goal number three for Chretsey. To make the final score Chertsey Town 3 Horley Town 4 and three more points for Town. Happy Christmas everybody.
  10. Horley Town 4 North Greenford 1 Goals from Kylie Hough , Alex Barbary ,a header from Liam Cox and Kerran Boylan. A great game of football by Town with good goals a harsh sending off for Ryan Smith and Liam Cox Stretered off and taken to hopsital by ambulence Hope he is ok.
  11. Funniest thing I have seen if football for a long time Epsom physio wasting time by spraying the boot of the Epsom keeper when he went down when a supporters said he was wasting time the physio let rip and said he knew what he was doing!!!! Yea I have been a First Aider for over 30 years and never knew you could treat somebody through a football Boot! Never mind perhaps it was DW40!
  12. Horley Town vs Merstham New Defence Horley kick 7.45pm Tuesday 26th July
  13. Horley Town 4 Spelthorne Sports 0 Good win for Town today against a team only one place below us in the League. Glad to get back to football feed up with Saturdays with no football. Town took the lead in the 45th minute through Ashley Nadasan. Town came out stronger in the second half and Conor Power scored followed by another goal from Ashley. Defender Jack Poplet popped up with goal number four
  14. Horley Town 3 Cove 0 A workman like performence from us today, one nil up through Leyton Regan and still one nil at half time. Second half Saw Ashley Nadasan scorerd two goals the second a cracker to end it with three points and a clean sheet. Good to see Cove getting a team out and still playing they had a lot of new players today.
  15. We played there last week its so dangerous and should be banned somebody will get hurt and badly injured as for playing football on it no chance, more hills than the North downs!
  16. Horley Town 2 Epsom & Ewell 2 Horley took a deserved lead in the first half with a well taken goal by Ashley N. Second half saw Epsom the stronger side but Horley holding on until skipper Liam Cox was sent off (No idea why did not see it) Epsom got back into the game with a hand ball and a penalty scored by ex Horley foward Kylie Hough. Then Epsom were awarded another penalty which nobody else saw apart from the referee again Kylie Hough scorered. In the clsoing minutes and elbow by Epsom saw Town awarded a penalty and Ashley scored from the spot to send both team home with a point. A game destroyed by poor refereing for both sides. I guess on the day a point each was fair interesting to see what Epsom thought?
  17. Its good to see the League using common sense, gives Cove the Chance to rebuild nobody wants to see a club go out of the League. Good luck to all at Cove.
  18. League and FA have it down as three nil to Dedhill FC!
  19. Raynes Park Vale 2 Horley Town 3 Hard faught win in difficult conditions. Town took the lead midway through the first half after having several good chances to score throughLeyton Regan. Just before half time Raynes Park had a playerst of for stamping on a Town player but the other player who through a punch stayed on the pitch! It was still one nil at half time. Against the ten men of Raynes Park Town struggled to adapt and all credit to Raynes Park they got back into the game. Town pushed foward and Leyton Regan grabbed his second to put Town back in front. Again Raynes Park would not lay down and they got a very dubious penalty from Skipper Adam Pullen when all those near the incedent said it was not. Colliers Wood scored from the penalty past George Hyde. Town brought on Sub Ashley Nadesan and pushed for the winner. Jack Poplett made a great run into the box but was brought down as the last player but the referee just awarded a penalty. Ashley stepped up and scored the winner for Town. Good credit to Raynes Park who never stopped running. Great Horley Town following today easily out number the home supporters and a number of Ground hoppers as well. Every time we go to Raynes Park it looks more like a bomb site how they get a grading to be in the league?
  20. Farnborough/Cove 0 Horley Town 4 Amazed when we saw the team sheet today Cove had signed on nine players from Farnborough both first team and acadamine players. Only two Cove players played today. Strange seeing Spencer Day and all the Farnborough Officals wondering around as if they owned the place. A large Horley following saw Town play very well and we opened the scoring through John Eldred. It was still 1-0 to Horley at half time. The second half was all Horley Town and further goals from Ashley Nadesen,Richard Wetton and Jack Poplett rounded of a good performence all round for Town.
  21. Could be interesting playing Guildford on Tuedsay after the result on Saturday!
  22. Spelthorne Sports 2 Horley Town 2 With so many players missing injured, away, not avaialble or suspended it ended up being a good point away from home. Horley were the better team in the first half and took the lead through centre back Ryan Brackpool. Second half Spelthorne were the better team and went two nil up both times when Town lost the ball in the midfield. We continued to push and our other centre back on the day Jack Poplett popped up with a goal three minutes from time to make it two two. Great to talk and chat with the Spelthorne Keeper great lad
  23. Agree with you Chris about the referee (Meet him before the game doing the teams and he seamed good) the best we have had this season thought he refereed the game as it should be.
  24. Horley Town 2 Colliers Wood United 1 With so many players away, injured and suspened it was a much changed side that took to the field for Town. Ex Horley Town manager Trevor Smith was in the away dug out as coah for Colliers Wood.Horley soon ran in two quick goals both from Ashley Nadasan. Town then lost our central defender and this meant more of a reshuffle. Colliers Wood then scored and it stayed the same till half time. Second half saw Colliers Wood through everything but the kitchin sink at Town but they could not find away to get a second. Town held on to take all three points.
