The Ladies won 3-0 away to Wroxham in the 4thQ of the FA cup on sunday in very testing conditions in front of a good sized crowd.
They now play Norwich away (one league above) in the First Round proper on the 13 November.
They secured £4000 for the club by winning on saturday. £6000 if they win in the next round.

Although I have not always seen eye to eye with Andy Leese's philosophy towards how teams should play it would be churlish of me not to congratulate him for receiving this month managers award.
Having missed the best part of half a season from what I have read, by way of this forum, it is apparent that at last he has brought together a team with the ability to succeed at this level.
 I sincerely hope that he and his staff go on to finish the job. As this will be a tribute and just reward for all those who give their time unreservedly behind the scenes for the benefit of club.

I do agree ! The squad is starting to take shape after a torrid pre season. Players looking much fitter and starting to feel comfortable around each other, the formation looked like 4-2-3-1 with Maja & Scott holding who I thought done a terrific job .  Our new LB looks very good I thought him and Jerry work well together , really impressed with Jerry at the back he’s been a rock so far I hope we can continue this it’s only the beginning

seriously though - well done to the players and staff and legendary groundsmen and our leadership, I am just so happy.
it was a strange old match, I don't actually think we were all in the same half when Maidstone made it 4-4.  I am so bloody proud of our little pub team from Essex who are keeping the football season alive.

as for the debut youtube stream.  volume aside, the commentary was excellent and pitched at just the right level.  very well done chaps - I also understand that it was free  
proud to be an urchin, miss you all.
so happy.  really needed this after the couple of weeks I've just had.  love this club and all of you.
