  1. The cynical bastard saw it as a great photo opportunity, nothing more, nothing less.
  2. Maybe his miraculous return to sanity is down to our brilliant NHS, as he couldn't possibly have been faking his mental health problems, or could he?
  3. IMO a far bigger problem than immigration is foreign investors (speculators) from Asia who are forcing property prices and rents to unaffordable levels, and taking profits away from the UK With regard to older people, while we have paid for our comfortable retirement, I can understand the resentment that the younger generation feel towards us.
  4. Apart from being as thick as two planks, your obviously mentally ill.
  5. Rapists are the vilest thugs imaginable, and I think most normal people would agree with that.
  6. If you would rather employ a convicted rapist over an ex-soldier or police officer you must be a completely warped, sick individual. IMO you desperately need help.
  7. Hardly a mad rush to employ the vile rapist Evans is there. Out of interest, would you give him a job?
  8. I see you fail to mention a rapists debt to his victim Ralph. Does your sympathetic stance on Ched Evans have anything to do with anything that may have occurred in your own life, because I personally don't know anyone that shares your strange views. The fact that you couldn't care less what his crime was, and suggest Rhodes shouldn't either is positively disgraceful.

  10. Out of curiosity Big JR, do you know what UKIPs policy is on foreign investment in the UK.
  11. So true, but how do you, as a civil servant, feel about not having a pay rise for years, and losing your final salary pension. Unless this is just another one of your wind ups.
  12. The argument against a football club employing a convicted rapist are moral and financial ones, as any club stupid enough to employ Evans would lose lucrative sponsorship deals, plus supporters who would be incensed by the clubs actions. Most companies would not want their names associated with a vile sex offender, and rightly so IMO. I'm fairly confident that if supporters of almost any club were asked if they would condone them signing Evans the answer would be an empathic no.
  13. I'm not sure if Jewish people chase money more than any other ethnic group, although I have met many Jews who have great business brains. I also noticed that Mackay is in trouble for calling someone Chemical Ali, which was one of my nicknames at one of my former employers. As I got the name because of my love for massed produced beers I thought it was rather funny, and certainly never took offence.
  14. Exactly, and at the end of the day if people don't want to be social pariahs dont commit rape. It really is that simple.
  15. Its highly unlikely Tesco would employ a rapist because they employ a high proportion of female staff, and they just couldn't take the chance.
  16. Not many responsible employers would take on a convicted rapist because of customer safety fears, and the obvious fact that the publicity would be bad for business. Do you think they are pathetic? How would you feel if your employer took on a rapist and as a result lost so much work that you were made redundant.
  17. There's no question in my mind whatsoever that I would do exactly the same.
  18. I don't think it is a minority. The vast majority hate rapists and paedophiles and wouldn't dream of ever forgiving them, welcome them into their circle of friends, or employ them. Most of them will quite rightly be outcasts for the rest of their lives and will only ever have their own kind for company. If anyone wants to enjoy the many privileges that society has to offer the answer is simple, don't commit the crimes that will make them unwanted by the majority of us. If they don't they deserve everything bad that comes their way.
  19. Actually one in seven reported rapes are committed by previously convicted rapists. The UK also has one of the lowest conviction rates for rape in Europe, and experts believe the reoffending figures to be much higher. I can only imagine you don't have a daughter, and its impossible to believe that if you did she would share your rather strange views.
  20. I would imagine its possible to hate someone for what they have become, and for the things they do, but still love them for what they were.
  21. Of coarse I would. My wife and I bought our three kids up to be decent honest people, and I'm proud to say we did a good job. In the unlikely event of any of my children committing a vicious rape they would be scum, plain and simple. Surely if one of yours was a rapist you wouldn't still think they was decent citizens.
  22. Apart from feelings of disgust, watching a rapist playing for another team wouldn't particularly affect me personally. It would though, certainly have an adverse effect on clubs like ours that need to attract females, families and the next generation of supporters. I cannot think of one single person that would even consider employing a rapist, for moral and business reasons, and fail to understand why, (as usual) football seems to think its acceptable to employ scum like Ched Evans.
  23. As far as I'm concerned rapists and drunk drivers that kill permanently lose their "human rights". Perhaps you would care to explain how a recovering alcoholic would be affected by watching a drunk driver play football.
