  1. Chertsey finally called off. Just as well Tommy Brunton had forgotten his armbands and ring.
  2. Less than an hour to kick off pitch saturated but no referee to make a decision . Senior football?a joke.
  3. Ashford V Chessington definitely on no inspection required
  4. JR I do have a point of view which if I had told the Referee at the time would have got me into a lot of trouble . Having refereed for 26 years myself I would like to think I have some idea of what it is about. The Referee in this game was out of his depth and inept theno argument This is honesty and not sour grapes on my part. There cannot be an argument that that the goalkeeper should have seen red. The penalty for Ashford was clearly outside of the penalty area so sympathy for the Knaphill player sen off though his reaction left the Referee with little option. The next red card for Knaphill was a yellow without doubt but no more. Now we come to what I strongly feel was the final injustice when Saad Kazi made what I consider a superb block only to have a penalty awarded against him and then a red card which not only cost Ashford dearly on the night but also a place in the Middlesex Senior Cup semi final against Enfield Town. Now you have an honest response without anger whereas on the night it may (would )have been different.
  5. CRAZY Ref. The one should have been red carded escaped. Totally incompetent throughout.

  8. Referee calls game on and twenty minutes later its off Could be a lucky escape if he is that decisive .
  9. Or even go and watch a game would be novel because reading your tiresome posts suggests you never do.
  10. And they always will Rother when the opponents deserve it by playing football the way it should be played. The main thing to upset them is totally incompetent referees and we have seen more than our fair share of them this season. Like yourselves we do at least have a fan base although they will all be back in their caves around Heathrow now until Saturday.
  11. Leave us alone at Ashford please. We are a limited company with safeguards in the constitution built in to prevent this sort of thing.
  12. Tyler Tobin saved a penalty against Woking in this seasons win in the Surrey Senior cup. Apparently the first that Scott Rendall had missed in his career.
