  1. Looking forward to our first ever visit to the Westhumble Community Stadium this evening, where we face Dorking in our next Bostik League Premier Division fixture. This may also be our last visit to this ground, as Wanderers will be moving, sometime in the near future, to their new MeadowBank Stadium a short distance away. After securing promotion last season, Wanderers have settled well in the Premier Division, and produced some decent results. Town beat them 3-2 in a tight game, at the QEII Stadium earlier in the season, but will need to dig deep tonight, and put in a good shift, with plenty of pride, passion and determination, if we are to get a result against very capable opponents. Best of luck to Andy and the boys. COYT
  2. After sharing the points in our opening home match of the season, Town face North London rivals Hendon tomorrow (Tuesday) evening, at the Silver Jubilee Park Stadium, in Kingsbury, for our next Bostik League Premier Division fixture. Last weekend, Gary McCann's side gave a positive performance at Tonbridge Angels, but came away empty-handed, with the home side winning 1-0. Early days, but both teams will be going flat-out to improve on their opening performance and result, and secure their first win of the season. Best of luck to Andy, Darren and the boys. Let's give it a real go guys, with a high-energy, top quality performance, that delivers three points. 'COME ON YOU TOWN'
  3. One helluva mouth-watering Premier Division clash in prospect, under the lights at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, tomorrow (Tuesday) evening, when The Town host Essex rivals Billericay Town, in a match eagerly awaited by both sets of fans. The two clubs haven't met yet this season, but Town are currently 8th in the table, two places and three points ahead of The Blues, so plenty to play for in what should be very close, highly competitive encounter. Last season we drew 2-2 at home with our visitors in the league, and lost 3-0 at New Lodge. But, in the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup, we came away from New Lodge with a 1-1 draw, before winning the replay 2-0 at home. No team news available so far for The Town, but Joe Ellul will not be in The Blues line-up, as he is serving a ban, while Rob Swaine and Tambeson Eyong are both rated doubtful for this match. Very best of luck to Brad and the boys in this match. Let's give it a real go guys, give the home fans plenty to shout about, and deliver another three points. 'COME ON YOU TOWN'
  4. THE TRAWLERBOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN! After Saturdays nail-biting thriller against Needham, the QES has a buzz of anticipation and optimism, as Town look forward to locking horns with Lowestoft Town in the Ryman Premier Division, under the lights, tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. KO: 7.45pm. The last time we played The Trawlerboys, back in the 2013-14, we drew 2-2 at Donkey Lane. This was the season Lowestoft finished 4th in the table and went on to win the play-offs and secure promotion to National League North. After their relegation last season, on the last day of the season on goal difference, they have made an encouraging start to life back in the Ryman Premier Division, and after thumping Kingstonian away 2-5 on Saturday, they have moved up to 6th in the table, one place and point ahead of Town, who have two games in hand. On their travels, Lowestoft have lost 5 league matches to date, 1-0 at Havant, 2-1 at Staines, 2-0 at Needham, 3-1 at Leatherhead, and 3-0 at Canvey Island. Town are on an impressive unbeaten run in the league, and have performed well against other promotion contenders in recent matches. This is a big match for both clubs, but with home advantage and support, Town will be keen to make a statement of intent and underline their ambition to be in the play-offs this season. Good luck everyone. Let's really get behind Brad and the boys tomorrow night with stacks of loud noisy support and encouragement. See you there. 'COME ON YOU TOWN'
  5. Town will be aiming to build on their impressive run of league results when they host Staines Town, in the Ryman Premier Division, at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm). On Saturday, while Town were battling well to secure a hard-earned point against a very good Tonbridge Angels side, Staines were without a fixture and come to Donkey Lane on the back of a 2-5 home defeat by Leatherhead. Last season we did the double over the Swans, winning 2-1 at home and 0-1 away. Two months ago, we went to Wheatsheaf Park and drew 2-2, to secure our first away point of the 2016-17 season, with goals from Harry Ottaway and Samir Bihmoutine. The Swans are having a mixed season of ups and downs, but are currently 6th in the RPD table, one point ahead of Town in 9th place, who have played two games less. Town have a much better goal difference. The Surrey outfit have a decent strike rate, but appear to be leaking goals too easily. Towners will be hoping we defend well in this match, put away our chances, and snap up another three points. Should be a very entertaining evening. Good luck everyone. Let's do it guys!
