Town travel down to the south coast tomorrow to play in-form Worthing, in the Ryman Premier Division, hoping to put recent setbacks behind them, and secure a much needed victory. Three months ago we played the Rebels at Donkey Lane, in better days, and edged past them 2-1 in a very close match which could have gone either way. Worthing are having an impressive first season in the Premier Division, and are currently 9th in the table, one point and two places behind Town, with two games in hand. They have also done well in cup competitions, particularly the FA Trophy where they beat Dagenham & Redbridge 1-2 away, before drawing 2-2 at home with Sutton United, and losing the replay 3-2 at Gander Green Lane after extra-time. Worthing play on a 3G pitch and have experienced drainage issues with it, since it was installed, which have resulted in the postponement of some matches. They hope to get it sorted at the end of this season. Be interesting to see how it plays for our match. Tomorrows match will definitely not be a stroll on the beach, and Town have little margin for error, if we are to keep our play-off hopes alive, and will need to be at their best to get points from this challenging fixture. We will also need to keep close tabs on the Rebels young striker Lloyd Dawes, who is quite a handful and has been scoring a lot of goals. All to play for. Good luck to Brad and the boys. Come on guys you can do it! See you there. 'COME ON YOU TOWN'
