Hi,<P>I see at last we are at the top of the league <P>I arrived here in Miami, to find that we had beaten Basingstoke 5 - 1 - as we failed to score a single goal against them last year, it was nice to come back from 1 goal down, and go top of the league.<P>And just in case anyone has ideas of me sunning myself here - it is raining!!<P>But at least it is nice and warm.<P>Cheers,<P>Ian<BR>(Miami)

Yeah but if it goes acording to what has happened to every other club that has held the top spot, you'll be there for two weeks max.<P>Here's a thought. Aldershot haven't been top yet. I Wonder.......

i belive the shots have thier 2 games in hand before anyone else at the top plays again, so once the cup games this weekend are out of the way a nice clear picture develops for the xmas run in..lots of teams still in the frame including your mob gazza, bet you didnt think that would be the case after your first couple of pre season frdlys

Pre season games are never an idication how a team does. I don't think you had a brilliant pre season.<P>What I meant by Aldershot not having the top spot so far is that, out of all the teams, I wonder if, when they go top, they'll keep it.

well as long as it stays interesting for more than 1 or 2 teams this year it'll make for a far more entertaining season than the last 2.. our match on boxing day, will that be a midday kick off?
