Well folks as we near the end of another campaign can I say thanks for your hospitaliy at away games. It will be sad to say goodbye when we get promoted.

 

Can't wait for the battle of the AFCs

I hope Wimbledon go up as I'd love to see them in the Football League one day to show what can be achieved.

 

However, wouldn't begrudge those cheeky little Urchins another promotion, a great effort in their first season.

the real wimbledon,ie the ones who played at plough lane are the same side as mk dons,just a different name.Otherwise the team MK dons would of had to start off in non league football!!!

Sheese why do people bring up the past. MK Dons have nothing of the old Wimbledon, that club is dead, (may they rest in peace). MK dons have a new name, new board, new staff, new players, new badge, new ground, new supporters, and no trophies apart from the one they won.

 

AFC Wimbledon are not Wimbledon FC, but we have the badge and true supporters of old. No matter what club you follow, you follow the badge. The board, management and players and even stadia change throughout time, but the one thing that lives on is the badge.

Agree UM. However, AFC should not have the badge as they are not the original Wimbledon. Same goes for Ware 1893.

The badge belongs to Merton Council home of the original Wimbledon. As for MK Dons being in the FL, yeah by virtue of lies. All the promises made when they applied for the move changed so they are there under false pretenses. Even their own chairman said they are a new club in an inteview before the Wembley match.
