If things stay as they are, Torquay, Burton, Cambridge and Exeter will be in the play offs, while the last 2 relegation places will be between Farsley, Alty, and Halifax. Farsley will effectively be down though as their goal difference is far inferior to Halifax. So it will either be Halifax or Alty in the last spot - a point on Saturday will keep Halifax up. Rather makes a joke of Setanta's last day coverage as only 2 games will matter - the Halifax and Alty games (although, I suppose the games deciding play off positions could be considered important as well)

 

Wrexham will be joining us in the Blue Square Premier next season as well, as they are losing to Hereford tonight.

Halifax are fighting hard - winning 0-4 at Crawley.

Looks like 3rd May could be the decider to see who else drops down from Div 2. Daggers v Mansfield - as much as I like would prefer Daggers to stay up, its a much easier away game!

Think even with the journeys I would prefer Dagenham to stay up, a club similar to ours in size, location, fan base etc... it would be good to see them not come straight back down.

Daggers is a good and easy day out but I would rather be introduced to the possible joys of Mansfield.

Second relegation spot is between Mansfield, Daggers, Notts County, Chester and Macclesfield.

 

Coming up from BS North are Kettering and from BS South are Lewes.

 

Play off places already confirmed in BS South are Eastbourne Borough & Hampton and Richmond. There are as many as 6 teams still with some hope of the other play off places.

 

Play off places in BS North already confirmed are AFC Telford and Stalybridge. The other 2 places are between Southport, Barrow and Harrogate.

 

Not really too bothered by which team gets up from the BS South playoffs as none is a huge distance away - preferably it wont be Newport or Bath though.

 

Definitely prefer Telford to get promoted from BS North as they will have the best support and are by far the nearest.

definitely want mansfield to come down, being at uni in nottingham it is a great away day for me, rmember being quite excited at the prospect of county and mansfield coming down. mansfield have a very good ground, probably one to rival oxford
