Eastbourne Commentary

Recommended Posts

Assuming I have recovered from today's epic I will be back in position on Tuesday night. Best quote of the day today came from a very confident Kwesi Appiah when I asked him if he was surprised to have scored with a header:" Yes I was actually - I thought I was going to score with a volley from the half way line!" What a character.

I just missed the bit where young Appiah thought he deserved man of the match.. Was probably just pipped by Hand, but what a great attitdute he showed on the pitch. Both he and Ibe are looking like genuine Conference quality strikers, and with Gash and Moore we look in good shape to continue our push up the table.

What did you think of the game David?

First half poor, 2nd half excellent!

I think your radio's actually trying to do you a favour by not allowing you to listen to the CD wink

Click on Saturday sport. This is the full hour from 5pm onwards. Liam is on around 8 minutes in. Chas's commentary on the goals is on right near the start. Kwesi's interview is on at 40 minutes in. Great interview it is as well!

Im selling car soon so will need to get it fixed. Its a real pain cos everytime I start up I hear "My life is brilliant" and its at that point I realise how great Terry Wogan would be at 6am.

I may tackle it tomorrow. A large sledge hammer should shut him up.

Very good interview, he sounds like a confident young man and so he should be...I don't think there is any problem at all with players having belief in their own ability.

We are trying some new fangled way of logging the commentary on to the net tonight, so now, more than ever, I could do with some of you viewers at home to PM me here to let me know if you can hear me one way or the other. If you can't get it complain to the studio in Tunbridge Wells! Pip,pip! Lord C

Me either ... but in researching the Real Player URL I dug out of the link properties it looks like its in part an issue of my being in The States and not the UK. Hmmm. I always wonder why I can hear most times but not all times. Heard Saturday's win without issue using the same general link page. Frankly I'd pay a subscription fee. Oh woe is me.

Up the Fleet anyway!
