Boston United raided by F.A.

Recommended Posts

Surely if Boston were penalised by a points deduction then Dagenham would be the Conference champions and therefore would have to be promoted.

Well the article says that it is more likely that Halifax will remain in Divison 3 rather than Dagenham be promoted which is a bit of a bugger really.

Still at least that would mean less travelling for us, so it's an ill wind and all that.

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> one would suspect that logic will have very little part to play in this as we are talking about the FA. Cheats should not prosper so if Boston are guilty, punishment should be swift and appropriate. Halifax finished bottom so should be relegated cos they are crap.

Personally I would like to see D&R go up, but the old boys network in the League will close ranks and look after their own.

Surely, if Boston are deducted points, it's because the cheeted and therefore Dagenham should be top.

I expect the league will favour Halifax for all the usual reasons: old boys network etc; "don't want another Barnet"; ...
