I don't know about four divisions for this coming season but only two teams will be relegated from the prem this season - Faces FC and Epping.

also confirmed is that potter street have folded and will not be in the olympian league next season,so the premier division will be 1 team short next season if only 2 go up from division 1

The four division factor is one that I was going to raise. A Romford reserve side is being formed to play in the EOL next season and there may be other new clubs that are in the pipeline too that haven't been heard about.

So, perhaps, it may require only a slight adjustment to the existing leagues and their teams and not a mass cull to get four reasonably sized leagues into place.

Yes, there will be four divisions next season. 14 in the top division and three other divisions of 12.

Potter Street are the only team leaving the League and there are six newcomers. Wadham Lodge, Catholic United and Cranes United will (as they are junior clubs) be placed in the bottom division whilst Sawbridgeworth Town Reserves, Stansted Reserves and Romford Reserves will enter in one of the middle divisions.

All of the above, of course, is subject to ratification at the League's AGM.

Ok say you are absolutely right, 50 senior clubs split 4 ways as you suggest. So each Senior division 1, 2 and 3 side will have 22 league games in a season. There are going to be a load of free Saturdays aren't there? By the time you've got some momentum going, you might have three Saturdays off with players getting bored and looking to play elsewhere!

I suggest three leagues of 17, 17 and 16 which will give a good number of games.

Thoughts?

It was one-way traffic in the second half and Town should have scored a hatful!!

Sounds fine to me but I'm only a johnny come lately on this forum. At the end of the day it's up to the guys in the big house to decide by June 15.

Think about this.

With Potter Street leaving, the current constitution is 13, 16 and 15. Six new teams are anticipated. Rather than four divisions, howabout:-

Premier - repreive the two relegated teams and promote Westhamians, Hutton and Rayleigh Town. now 16 teams

Senior Div 1 - reprieve the two relegated teams and promote Sungate, Southminster and Runwell. now 16 teams

Senior Div 2 - promote the above three and add the six new teams. now 18 teams

You could promote 4 from Senior Division 2 to make a 16, 17 and 17 constitution.

Next season operate a two up and two down system apart from the Senior Div 2 which will be three up which would then be a 16, 17 and 17.

Thoughts anybody?
