SCOTTY FORESTER TO LEAVE SHOTS?!

Recommended Posts

I'm here smile.gif" border="0
But then I am not a great Borg fan - in fact I find his behaviour embarrassing.
Personally I don't think he can stand the pressure - he keeps changing his mind on tactics, formation etc, has the motivational skills of a wild boar and the tactical awareness of my 5 year-old daughter.
OK so I'm overstating it - but I for one won't be sorry if he decides to go.

You'd be amazed what your 5 year old daughter and a wild boar could do, after watching 'faking it' (not a programme about Wayne Andrews diving smile.gif" border="0 ) on TV last night I tend to believe the child/boar combo could combine to make the most sucessful managerial duo in the Shots' history!!!
Alternatively you could go for Chris Kinnear, who comes very highly rated

We've got a few problems in the family to sort out, and we'd be grateful if you'd all just leave us alone until we get things sorted out. It really is nobody elses business but ours, so please get on with your own lives and give us some privacy. Thankyou kindly.

So "what the f***'s happening Shots and is Borg up to the job" not the right tack to take at the moment then??

I do like the wild boar/daughter comment.
I'm musing over that one now and the picture it conjures up is quite interesting.
I must admit it is quite refreshing to find an Aldershot supporter who finds Geroge Borg embarassing. And in the Non League mag Mr. Borg passes his behaviour as "passionate".

Be gentle on the lad, it has taken him 6 weeks to pluck up the courage to post that wink.gif" border="0

Cheeky monkey. You lot keep asking for other Shots fans to post, so here I am-albeit delayed. Whatever the short-term trials and tribulations at ATFC, the fact remains that our long-term destiny will be to regain our place in league football. Whether it takes another 5 years or 10, we do not know, but it will happen. Looking at the bigger picture, there is no other club in this league who I would rather support, even if Canvey or another team win the title this year. I hope this is not perceived as 'Aldershot arrogance' which many people often refer to- it is just a statement of logic and probability.

As for our present position, I have always been a fan of Georgie Borg, for all his faults, and I will reserve judgement until the end of the season. If our away form can be improved, we will have every chance of success. If not, then there's always next year. I'm prepared to wait.

With Bristol Rovers, and now a Hampshire Cup tie against Farnboro to look forward to, these are exciting times to be a Shots fan. I bid you goodnight.

Hey I like this TV comparison we could have for instance:
Enfield Town and Enfield FC - Randall and Hopkirk deceased

Croydon - a (pitch) Bridge to Far

Kingstonian - playing with the dinosaurs

Braintree Town - Stars in their eyes!

Aldershot - Casualty
