Terriers Saved

Recommended Posts

It's just been broadcast on BBC Radio L**ds that over 75% of the club creditors voted for the Company Voluntary Agreement. There was in fact only one against - the Inland Revenue - but that was for Football related debts and was overruled so.............. THE TERRIERS FUTURE IS SECURE!

That's me down the pub! What a relief!

I can look forward to planning my Fleet games when the 2003/4 fixtures are published.

regards

Wasn't he a Monkee and Terry Dolan the Organ Brinder, Dave?

As soon as I heard the news of our 'great escape' I was diving around the kitchen. the dog thought I'd gone nuts and the window cleaner was in a temporary state of shock at my antics. (Running round the garden shouting YES! YES! F-king Yes!)

When I pulled myself together I ran up-stairs and put on my blue n' white and left for the 'local' and celebrated with several pints of Tetley's Bitter!

What a day! I'm out again about 6.30pm.

Thanks for your best wishes everyone.

I don't give a drunken toss........... what the administration legalities are we are safe and I'm drunk............!

Even so..........I'm NOT proud about any of this administration stuff ........but I'm totally ashamed and frustrated that our great club ended in the sh*t, the way it did.

'To hell n' back' doesn't provide an adequate description of the last six months in particular, or the past 3 years in general.

Long Live HTAFC!.....Long Live The Mighty FLEET!
