I am another man who is getting carried away with the brilliant run we are putting together but I can not understand why Jonah has totally dissapeared from the Club, I am aware that a lot off new faces have arrived this season but surely for someone who has put the last 10 years of his footballing life into CIFC should be part of this, He is still shown as part of the squad ??
Can anyone shed any kind of light on what has happened !!

i think jonah signed a new 2 yr contract.. to not train or play and maybe go on loan..being realistic he wont get a game now with greggors wayno cobby boylan and tilson up front... but what with injuries and whatever who knows.. if he has a 2 yr contract to sit on his [****!!****] and play in the ESC and a game or 2 later in the season then its only just rewards for his efforts over the years

Without doubt Jonah has given so much to CIFC and if it's true that he has signed another 2 year contract it only goes to show how dedicated he is to Canvey, his experience to the club on or off the field is just as important, I'm sure he still has alot to offer.

i think the reason jonah has disappeared goes a bit deeper than not being able to get in team

i think best left alone.well done to the lads so far this season it will be a tough game tuesday night at Grays so we all need to get behind the boys.

looking forward to Wigan game lets hope we get a good turn out i think that made a big difference at Port Vale eveyone singing for all of the game it was brilliant so come on lads keep it going.

Not 'arf. That night at Port Vale was the greatest night in Canvey football history. For me, it was better that Villa Park. Once the Yellow Army goes full throttle, it not only lifts the fans, but it must do wonders for the players.
Chester was another one where the fans got really behind the team (with support from several disaffected Billericay fans who joined us in straw hats) and the atmosphere on the terrace gave us at least a one:nil advantage.
Lets give it the business at Wigan. Let's get Ian drunk and use him as our mascot - you know it makes sense.
Merv
[ 02 November 2001: This message was edited by: Merv CIFC ]
