you are joking, aren't you? Disappointed yes, surprised, surely not. There will still be snow lying on pitches, and no chance to mark the lines. Even Saturday will be in doubt for many.

I refer the hon gentleman to my earlier reply.

Perhaps Cliff lives in a micro-climate. It's still freezing here with quite a lot of snow lying on the pitch in Biggleswade. I can't imagine anywhere else in this part of the country being any better, and when it melts we'll have water-logged pitches instead ....

Horace - Which reply are you referring to

Well Rhodes, Horace only made one post in reply before that post. It shouldn't be too hard to work out.

Another inch of snow fell here overnight adding to the couple of inches still here. I'd like to think games will be on this wekend but unless your pitch drains well the majority must be doubtful

Not an earthly chance in Bucks..a couple of inches overnight and still snowing.

Loosely - When was the last time your Club had a fixture, you'll soon be tarred with the same brush as Sport London e Benfica and Haringey Borough

But, not surprisingly, only by you............

You're not trying to talk about something that shouldn't be mentioned on the SSML Forum are you Rhodes? You not forced them to close enough threads already?

Just stick to the topic Dumbo.

I think everyone but Rhodes accepts that the weather has had an adverse effect on matches. Except his club, he tends to shut up then.

BTW, looking forward to this press coverage on Tokyngton Manor, sounds exciting, or is it exiting? Who knows...

We tried a bit on the training pitch last night but had to give up any kind of proper session. With the added fresh snow last night I say for def tomorrow night will be off and very likely Saturday as well.

Loosely - I just felt that Club's could have done a little bit more to try to get their games on last night that's all

Keeps - I'm not talking about tonight when there is clearly no chance of any play with the recent fresh snow, I'm talking about last night

Horace - Prior to the snow in the early hours of this morning and during the morning rush hour there had been signs of a thaw and it was a lot milder last night, I just thought there might be a handful of games played last night that's all if Club's had made more of an effort
