An additional friendly has been arranged for Thursday evening at Whitstable.

 

Andy will be taking a strong squad of about 16 players including a number of first team players who will not be available on Saturday.

 

He also hopes to use the match to look at a couple of strikers

I believe that one of them may be Bert Hawkins, and the other one may be Alan Brown.

I think Dave is taking the p*ss and showing his age! Wasn't Bert Hawkins one of our players in the 1950's or 60's or something? I'm too young too remember thank heavens!

And I am REALLY showing my age as I can remember Alan Brown playing "centre Forward" for the Fleet AND opening the bowing for Kent CCC! (mind you, he was older than I was)

Dan Sampford is close to 1,000 posts in 3 months so don't peak too soon John...it's a marathon not a sprint.
