Nah........3-1. Cobblers sneak one against the run of play in the first 45. In the second half the Gulls start to really play and Greggors finally gets the ball in the net after several first half chances go a-begging. Wallop!, Dicksy pelts a 20 yarder and for the finale, Millsy turns, 'walks' with the ball for a bit and blasts for the third. Then its back to the club house, free beers, collect a ferocious curry on the way home and on arrival at our pad Mrs Gulleball rushes me to the upstairs nest pronto for some serious feather ruffling.<p>Am I looking forward to Sunday or what! <img src="graemlins/icon21.gif" border="0" alt="[icon21]" />

I reckon Canvey get a goal around the 20 minute mark, then there's an equaliser after about 70, and Canvey get a winner with eight minutes to go.

I really cannot predict what the score is going to be, but I do feel that the odd goal will win it and it will be bloody close, We all know that we have a very good team here at Canvey but the suprise element has gone after the great runs over the past few seasons.<p>I am sure Jeff & Glenn will pick the best team for the day and I hope that we go at them as we do any other team.<p>Come on CANVEY lets show the whole nation what a great team we have!!<p>Come on the supporters lets also show the nation what a great bunch of fans that we have LETS MAKE SOME NOISE.<p>PS. This is all getting a bit worrying. Here we ae talking confidently about beating a 2nd Div team by about 3-0.

My heart says we must win 'cos I'm sure the stage is set for a BIG 3rd Round tie.

The head says a hard battled draw and a sneaky 1-0 win back at their place.

Greetings all, long time lurker first time poster. <p>I agree with Dickie D. The stage may well be set here for us to go to the next round. Remember last year, they made the draw for the second round before Canvey had played and it was right that we would go on to play Southend in the cup <p>I predict a 2-1 score with the usual being under it for the first 20 mins. I'm just worried Canvey will get a 90 minute penalty and Dicks will break the goal for the match to be called off <p>CK

In reality though I recon a 1-1 or 2-1 win for Canvey!

The cobblers have some injuries which will be in our favour hence my 3-1 bet,(you just never know), but lets not forget they are a 2nd div league side.
