From Northfleet on the Net : It is a little known fact, to non Northfleet fans, that during the FA Cup run of 1962/63 The Fleet set an FA Cup record which still stands today. Our first match in the Cup was on 8th September 1962 against Chatham Town in the First Qualifying Round, and our last match was on 18th February 1963 in the Fourth Round Replay against Sunderland. The total time spent between first and last match was 5 months and 10 days
