I think you'll find that an FA inquiry is shortly to be announced as the match ball has been examined and found to be covered in slippery Hornchurch diarrhoea - a foul act in anybodies book and suspected to be a result of aforementioned Hornchurch Toilet Training.

 

However let it not be said that Kettering (without 3 of their very best players and playing well below avaerage) would in anyway begrudge Hornchurch of their first and only point of the 2003 season.

 

I am sorry that I could not attend the match as I was taking part in a charity Toilet Roll Collection for Hornychurch FC with the secondary aim of raising enough funds to expand the capacity of your grounds Septic Tank.

 

No - seriously I am really miffed my sproglett chose to be 4 years old today and that I couldn't visit what was, I am told, by all accounts a very nice Ground graced by a well below par Poppies Team. I would have enjoyed that rarity of seeing a draw this season.

 

Looking forward to welcoming ya'll to Rockingham Rd (Nic - can we call you a 'Poppet' for that game and could you possibly show how WE "do the Bar"?) Hey - how about piccy's of KTFC's "Poppet's" on Tinhat's Site????

I enjoyed the game and visit immensely.

 

Pity you couldn't attend, snoopy. You would have been drooling into your warm glass of Fox's Nob at the sight of the Urchinettes.

 

I was completely taken aback by both the surroundings and the welcome we received. (I obviously didn't bump into Unc!!)

 

COLD beer in the club shop at half time (pity there was a 100 minute coach journey to take in to consideration.)

WE can't even supply warm Cokes at our place!!!!!!!

 

I do have to concede that we could have lost the game but we did contribute to our own downfall by playing into the hands of their 7 foot defenders.

 

All in all a great day out and still unbeaten.

Outplay us? I don't think so! You probably shaded it but we could have won it with Murphy's second half header. And we undoubtedly finished the stronger - another 5 minutes and I think we'd have one.

 

Both teams had good and bad patches.

Fine - if you think that was playing someone of the park, continue in your delusion! You're going to lose so many games you "dominate"! You'll have the rest of the league laughing at your moans!

 

And as for the beer - that's your achiles heel. Typical of plastic places (we have experience locally) - when you dig a little deeper, there's nothing there! On a hot afternoon, I wanted a decent draught lager, say Stella. But there's nothing on draught and I had to have a bottle of Bud (the king of complete piss).

 

But I did enjoy the afternoon and who's the blonde in the red T shirt and black trousers - she can have a ride in my car any time!!!
