HA, HA, HA.
You are a non league side and you know you are all your "so called" fans that I talked to were so confident you'd beat Burnley but what happened you got stuffed. How many did you take away, and how many were at the Nothampton game then take that in contrast to your next league fixture where you will get 400 or so.
As for that fat idiot Jeff King, I feel really sorry for your true supporters he wanted to rip you off big time at £18 a ticket if Burnley charged £6 you'd stand to make more because of the increased attendence. Oh not to mention the tantrum he had when he wasn't a live game of TV. Who'd want to watch the game it's not the most attractive match the only reason you were on before was because of the Premiershite teams hadn't entred yet.
All I can say is I feel really sorry for your true week in week out followers and that there really is only one team in Essex SOUTHEND come on!
Dave

blimey what was all that in aid of?? thats the kind of drivel you usually save up for your frds from orient or brighton... still i guess as your team slides into non league football itself we will be proper local rivals soon.. one team in essex? you must mean col u then, and after that the daggers

Hmm! Orient and Brighton are not rivals of the Shrimpers although I have a certain dislike for them for my own reasons. Southend's rivals have and always will be Col U.
I have no personally grudge with the true fans of CIFC the thing that winds me up is the way you get all these people cruel out of the woodwork around cup time and then disappear for another year.
Also I hate that so called "King" of yours he's on of the most arrogant people I have ever had the mispleasure of meeting and is extremely greedy. I personally don't even think he's a very good manager he's tactically very poor and if you was to take away the money your have to bring in old pro's etc... you would be an average side and he wouldn't be able to cope.
I will take great pleasure come monday when I return to work on the Island slatting down these so called fans of yours.
Dave

Well said Canv

Sounds as if we,re getting a bit close to the poor long suffering Shrimps(spineless sea creatures)I would say we,ll see you in the Conference, but we will probably go into the third division as you drop out of it

Dear Canvey Fans,
Please let me apologise for those ridiculous outprouring from ShrimperZone. Allow me expain.
We have recently introduced a new regime of occupational therapy at the hospital and one of our successes has been allowing patients to use the internet. ShrimperZone has benefitted from this pioneering work but, up until now, has always gone onto the World Wide Web supervised by one of my medical staff.
As the Southend game was called off on Saturday he came into the hospital on a voluntary basis but, unfortunately, got unsupervised access to a computer. The result is (to my shame) the viewable nonsense now seen on your excellent website.
ShrimperZone is suffering from encaphalogical sublimea disorder (sorry, technical term that you would probably understand better as 'Barking Mad'.) The nonsense that he utters is out of his control although his condition is getting better all the time.
May I ask for your help in that you respond to him with tact and restraint? Any rude shock is likely to set his treatment back by weeks. You may also notice that the truth is also likely to set him back, such are his delusians.
Psychiatric medicine is making tremendous progress and we are confident that, one day, his condition might be cured. In the meantime, please treat him with the respect that any psychiatric patient with a blue and white scarf deserves.
Thanks for your help.
Dr Zbungle

Dear Dr Zbungle

I feel that it is probably in your patients best interests to keep him away from all media(including the internet)towards the end of the football season,as the news of "The Marsh Rats"promotion into the Conference may tip him over the edge completly.Incidentaly is his real name Rob Newman?

Yes, we will certainly have him back in when you go to Villa Park next May and also for when you are presented with the Championship Cup at Braintree.
I'm afraid I can't reveal his identity (patient confidentiality, and all that...) but there are several football fans well known to me, including one very well known to you all at Park Lane.
Dr Zbungle

G'Day Andy,
Rather than..."..."The Marsh Rats" promotion into the Conference", I prefer the analogy of the 'Seagulls soaring into the 'Conference and beyond.
Then Dr Zbungle's Runwell Hospital would be chock-a-block and overworked, with a long waiting list to boot.
