The Adam Miller thread ... ?

 

Have I missed something? Has he signed for us? Am I still recovering from one too many glasses of wine with last night's video? Could someone please enlighten an old duffer as to the significance of the thread.

 

Personally, I have mixed memories of him.

 

1. Playing very well against us in the home match during our championship season, then spoiling it all by joining his captain in totally ott gloating, assuming their win had clinched the title.

 

2. The NLP photo of him, in tears, after Canvey's final game of the season at Braintree.

It's on the news page, Graham - I only read it quickly while very tired last night, but I think Miller's playing for a Gravesend XI in a friendly. Whether this means he's on trial with a view to signing him, I'm not sure. Dave will probably be able to give us more info.

Thanks - I'd seen the start of the news item, but hadn't bothered reading it through to the end, where Miller is mentioned. The bit about him playing pre-season but for injury does imply that he may well be on trial. Was he released by Grays? Is his old partner in crime, Stimpson, still manager there?

stimmo is still manager of grays.. now they are full time with a load of youngsters... thats stimmos speciality bringing on the younger players, he'll probably do well after last years blowout
