A week and a half ago

A week and a half ago Cobham were getting ready to play Eversley at home, tough side on the back of a horrible 6-1 loss away to Westfield and a 5-2 loss to Hartney Wintney. Confidence is rock bottom, morale is low and the up and coming fixtures are not making life easy. Coach leaves and things are going from bad to worse. Problems suddenly come out from everywhere. 3 wins later and confidence is high, players are happy and these 3 wins against very tough sides (Eversley, Worcester Park, Staines) has given everyone around the club belief. Suddenly we go into games believing again. All this in a week and a half!!! Thats how quickly things can turn around. One small moment can spark a run or pour cold water all over a run.

Smudge this league can change so quickly, Knaphill were nowhere last season until they put a run-in at the end of the season and finished above us.

Anyone can win on their day as recent results have shown and it's still early in the season, this is before before you have to go to some sh1t holes in the winter and play on their cow field. Lets have a chat at Crimbo time, it there are 3 teams 10 points clear then, and we are still among them I believe teams from the prem will be coming down.

PS Dont't be a stranger at Hartley if you're on the train we will sort out a lift to the station.

Regards,

HH
