Thought that I would break my long silence.<p>The new chap Ashley Nichols looks handy, made himself busy in the first half in particular; will be interesting to see how he gets on over a few games.

The team is starting to get back into their stride once again with some good movement as a whole, just a tad more snap to squeeze between the sticks up the front and we are well and truly rolling.

I have to agree as well Ashley does look handy and the team is starting to really kick into gear again, All we need now is for a few more chances to go in (Which it will) and we will be really flying.<p>Another 3 points please on tuesday.

morning all..great result saturday and what with gravesend dropping 2 points as well things have turned around slightly as far as the title race is going eh? as i said in an earlier posting it's not over until all games have been played and alot of points are up for grabs still. me and my fellow canvey 'nut' hillsy made the journey saturday and apart from a little detour down the M1 towards luton (which i have to say was my fault being as i was navigator) which meant we missed the 1st 20 mins i thought canvey played well. my only gripe was that we seemed to create alot of chances around the edge of the area but no one seemed to want to shoot. a few times this happened and at only 1-0 up at the time we looked vulnerable on the counter and Ashley was called into action a few times.As the saying go's "if you dont shoot you don't score!!" also i felt that the boy Parmenter should take up golf becuase he certainly had the 9 iron out saturday with a few efforts on goal that were still rising as they went over the bar!! knee over the ball son!! well done canvey and keep the form going ..
