Did Bobby Moore ever meet Frank Sinatra?

Ok folks, this is a serious question.... have any of you ever heard any stories to back up any meetings between these two?

 

I'm putting something together for my grandad and would be happy to include any feedback anyone can offer..... serious only!

Google, "Tony Parsons on the Genius of Moore, Englands best captain" its quite a way down the article, but it certainly mentions a meeting with old blue eyes.

I remember meeting Bobby Moore when he managed Oxford City. Phil Beal of spurs played center half for them. If i remember correctly that was Harry Rednaps first managerial job as assistant manager.

 

Thats going back a few years Jason. Your grandad might remember that.

 

I never met Frank Sinatra at oxford City though.

Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, and Geoff hurst used to drink in the old Coopers Arms pub in Rush Green on a quite regular basis, and in all that time I don't remember anyone ever pestering them, or even ask for an autograph.

 

Frank Sinatra never went to the Coopers Arms either, but we did have a potman called Steve who used to put on a dinner jacket and bow tie, and sing "My Way" most Saturday nights.
