That has to be one of the most frustrating games of the season. Hornchurch controlled the game, particulary in the second half.

If we had won 4-1, it wouldn't have been a surprise to me. We are going to play a lot worse this season and win.

Fair play to Bury, they had about three shots and scored from one of them.

Hit the woodwork twice, tremendous saves from their keeper, especially the one low down to the left of him.

Still can't believe we lost.

This was a very organised side very difficult to break down one serious lapse in our defence and they score that's how fine margins are sometimes in this game maybe mauve not so lucky after all on another day we could of had four fair play to bury they had a game

Plan and stuck to it

Very frustrating to see us lose, after playing well, well so i think.

Their only goal come from what looked like poor defending as there was no one on the left post.

Think the lucky purple shirt ran out of luck tonight.

But heres hoping that it returns to normal on Saturday at East Thurrock.

We won't be playing in purple Saturday because our club check to see what colours the home team play in,shame the same couldn't be said about Bury, who turned up with only red shirts when we play in er red.

I just wonder about Bury,it seemed from the start that they had issues, perhaps this was one of them, along with constantly calling for the referee to send our players off, whinging more than even concord ever could and timewasting from 20 minutes onwards

It seems teams who behave like that get results against us seems to disrupt our play still think we will be in the mix at the end of the season let's channel our energy to get behind the team instead of other petty issues

I thought we played very well and should have been out of sight by half time - Cant help thinking if we had macca playing as right back we wouldnt have all got sucked over to the ball when they scored.

If we play like that every week we will be top 3 for sure.

Hard luck lads but lets get that out of our system and get the important result Saturday.
