Scrappy game but the correct result. Hx hit the woodwork as well.

Played well 1st half,should of had a penalty as well

2nd half we were off the boil but clung on for a win in difficult conditions.

I know fans get frustrated at times but I would like to see us not getting on the backs of players when they make mistakes,I know we all have a right to an opinion but I for one don't think it helps and I would like a bit of harmony as I really want to get out of this fckng league and don't want players falling out with fans or vice versa as it don't do us any good

We had our somewhat usual difficult home game against Bury Town.

Kingstonian has also seemed a difficult home fixture over the years. We need to be right behind the team for these matches against promotion rivals and get the results we need.

There really should have been only one winner on Saturday, it would have been unfair on Hornchurch not to come away with three points.

 

We have been caught this season by teams like Canvey and Bury where we controlled the game, they defended well and nick the odd goal against us. We've only been outplayed once this season against Concord - unfortunately in the FA Cup.

 

Be nice to get a result against Kingstonian but unfortunately it looks like they are running into form. Expecting a tough game. We do need to get behind the team on Saturday.

I notice in the final paragraph they mention how cold it was. Imagine what they will write when the "big freeze" comes!

Controversial goal eh, Not from where I was standing (in front of the incident).

I think the defender was just embarrased to get mugged and was looking for a foul to bail him out.

Ref got it right.

I can't believe that they think the ref might not have awarded us a penalty because he felt that giving our goal was generous enough!

We were the better team and deserved the win.
