Ronnie Sturgess R.I.P.

Recommended Posts

Just heard that Ron passed away last night. Don't have any further details to hand.

He had been an active member of both EFC as well as The Town. He had also been a long-serving member of the Middlesex F.A.

Deeply saddened by this news.

Ronnie was a great little character who spent a considerable amount of time and energy contributing towards the success of the old club, during the Southbury Road days, and The Town both at Brimsdown and the QEII stadium. He was a wonderfully loyal servant to both clubs, who will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Thanks for all your efforts Ronnie. RIP.

RIP Ronnie. A very nice man who worked hard for our club. Without the work people like him put in behind the scenes non league clubs would struggle.

Thoughts with his family and friends at this time.

Just heard the sad news and wish to echo the kind words of so many.

Ron was a great character and one of the nicest people I've ever met.

So many good memories of Ron, that I'm sitting at my desk with a smile.

Rest in peace Ron and pass on my regards to Roy!
